不要搬来搬去，要固定住在一家，接受那家的款待，因为工人理应得到工钱。“你们无论到哪一个城镇，如果人们接待你们，就吃他们摆上的饮食。

我以前曾经写信吩咐你们，不可与淫乱的人交往。我的意思并不是指世上所有淫乱、贪婪、欺诈与祭拜偶像的人。那样的话，你们将不得不离开这个世界。我的意思是，若有人自称是信徒，却淫乱、贪婪、祭拜偶像、毁谤、酗酒、欺诈，你们不要和他们交往，甚至不要和他们一起吃饭。

我们知道主是当受敬畏的，所以劝人归信祂。我们的内心如何，上帝知道，我盼望你们的良心也知道。

把那只肥牛犊牵来宰了，让我们一同欢宴庆祝！

随后，他在家设宴款待耶稣，赴宴的人中有许多税吏和其他人。法利赛人和律法教师就向耶稣的门徒抱怨说：“你们为什么跟税吏和罪人一起吃喝呢？”

我们弃绝了见不得人的可耻行为，不用狡诈的手段，不曲解上帝的道，而是把真理讲解明白，好让大家的良心在上帝面前为我们作证。

百姓见状，都埋怨说：“祂怎么到一个罪人家里作客？”

我们不写任何你们读不懂、不明白的内容。你们现在对我们有几分认识，但我盼望你们最终完全认识到：当主耶稣再来的日子，你们将以我们为荣，正如我们将以你们为荣一样。
