凡售於市者食之、毋為良心而詢也、

凡售於市者、不問而食、問則心疑、

凡售於市者、食之勿問、免心有所疑、經云、

凡購於市上者、食之；為良心平安計、勿問原委。

Eat anything sold in the meat market without raising questions of conscience,

Eat anything sold in the meat market. Don’t ask if it’s right or wrong.

Eat whatever is sold in the meat market without raising any question on the ground of conscience.

So you may eat any meat that is sold in the marketplace without raising questions of conscience.

Eat anything that is sold in the meat market without asking questions, for the sake of conscience;

Eat whatever is sold in the meat market, asking no questions for conscience’ sake;

Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, eat, asking no question for conscience’ sake;

Eat everything that is sold in the meat market, asking no questions for conscience’ sake,

Eat anything that is sold in the marketplace without questions of conscience,

Whatever is sold in the butcher shop, eat, asking no question for the sake of conscience,

However, not everyone has this knowledge. Some have been so used to idolatry up until now that when they eat food sacrificed to an idol, their conscience, being weak, is defiled.

To the pure, everything is pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; in fact, both their mind and conscience are defiled.

Therefore, you must submit, not only because of wrath but also because of your conscience.

For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving,

I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself. Still, to someone who considers a thing to be unclean, to that one it is unclean.

Again, a second time, the voice said to him,“ What God has made clean, do not call impure.”

If any of the unbelievers invites you over and you want to go, eat everything that is set before you, without raising questions for the sake of conscience.But if someone says to you,“ This is food from a sacrifice,” do not eat it, out of consideration for the one who told you, and for the sake of conscience.I do not mean your own conscience, but the other person’s. For why is my freedom judged by another person’s conscience?
