Is not the cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks a participation in the blood of Christ? And is not the bread that we break a participation in the body of Christ?

We give thanks for the cup at the Lord’s Supper. When we do, aren’t we sharing in the blood of Christ? When we break the bread, aren’t we sharing in the body of Christ?

他們喫的時候，耶穌拿着餅，祝頌，擘開，給予門徒，說：『你們拿着喫；這是我的身體。』他又拿着杯，祝謝了，給予他們，說：『你們大家都要喝；因為這是我的血，盟約的血，為許多人流出來，使罪得赦免的。

他們恆心專務的、是使徒的教訓、是團契捐，是擘餅和禱告。

但我們若在光裏行，如同上帝在光裏，那我們就彼此有團契了，而他兒子耶穌的血就潔淨我們一切的罪了。

我當日從主領受、又傳給你們的、是：主耶穌在被送官的那一夜拿着餅，祝謝擘開說：『這是我的身體，是為了你們而捨的；你們要這樣行，來記念我。』喫了餅以後，拿杯也照樣子；他說：『這杯是新的約，用我的血立的；你們每逢喝的時候，總要這樣行，來記念我。』你們每逢喫這餅喝這杯的時候，總是傳揚主的死，直到他來。所以無論何人，不配地喫主的餅，喝主的杯，就該擔受辜負主身主血的罪責。人須要察驗自己，然後喫餅喝杯。喫喝的人若不分辨這身體是甚麼，就是喫喝了自受的定罪。

並且同心合意，天天恆心專務於殿裏的敬拜，又在家中擘餅，存歡樂坦樸之心分享食物，

上帝是可信可靠的；你們是憑着他而蒙了召、得參同他兒子我們主耶穌基督之團契的。

他又拿着餅，祝謝擘開，給予他們說：『這是我的身體。』

安息週的第一天，我們聚集擘餅的時候，保羅因為第二天將要出行，就向他們講論，把話延長到半夜。

我乃是說外國人所祭獻的、是祭獻給鬼，不是獻與上帝。我不願意你們成了有分於鬼的人。你們不能喝主的杯，又喝鬼的杯；不能分享主的筵席，又分享鬼的筵席啊。

因為我們如果持守起初的確信，堅定不移到末了，我們就成了與分於基督的人了）——

就上去，擘餅來喫，又談論了好久，直到破曉才出發。

耶穌就對他們說：『我實實在在地告訴你們，你們若不喫人子的肉，不喝人子的血，就沒有生命在你們裏面。嚼我肉、喝我血的人有永生；我還要使他在末日復起。我的肉是真正可喫的，我的血是真正可喝的。嚼我肉、喝我血的人住在我裏面，我也住在他裏面。永活的父怎樣差遣了我，我又因父而活；嚼我的人也必照樣因我而活。這就是從天上降下來的餅，不是像列祖喫過了、還死了那樣的；嚼這餅的必永遠活着。』

我們曾看見過曾聽見過的、現在也傳布給你們，是要讓你們也和我們有團契；而我們這團契又是與父、和他兒子耶穌基督所有的團契。

我們眾人、或猶太人、或希利尼人、或為奴的、或自主的、都在這獨一的靈受洗、歸於獨一的身體；也都得恩賜來吸飲這獨一的靈。

他們喫的時候，耶穌拿着餅，祝頌、擘開，給予他們，說：『你們拿吧；這是我的身體。』他又拿着杯、祝謝了，給予他們；大家都喝了。耶穌對他們說：『這是我的血、盟約的血、替許多人流出來的。我實在告訴你們，我決不再喝這葡萄樹的產物，總得等到那日、我喝它、新的、在上帝國裏。』
