且吾不欲兄弟之昧於史訓也。昔吾列祖、悉皆托庇祥雲、行經滄海；

For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers and sisters, that our ancestors were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea.

Brothers and sisters, I want you to know something about our people who lived long ago. They were all led by the cloud. They all walked through the Red Sea.

For I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea,

I don’t want you to forget, dear brothers and sisters, about our ancestors in the wilderness long ago. All of them were guided by a cloud that moved ahead of them, and all of them walked through the sea on dry ground.

But the Israelites had walked through the sea on dry ground, with the waters like a wall to them on their right and their left.

You divided the sea before them, and they crossed through it on dry ground. You hurled their pursuers into the depths like a stone into raging water.You led them with a pillar of cloud by day, and with a pillar of fire by night, to illuminate the way they should go.

He spread a cloud as a covering and gave a fire to light up the night.

He split the sea and brought them across; the water stood firm like a wall.He led them with a cloud by day and with a fiery light throughout the night.

Our ancestors in Egypt did not grasp the significance of your wondrous works or remember your many acts of faithful love; instead, they rebelled by the sea— the Red Sea.Yet he saved them for his name’s sake, to make his power known.He rebuked the Red Sea, and it dried up; he led them through the depths as through a desert.He saved them from the power of the adversary; he redeemed them from the power of the enemy.Water covered their foes; not one of them remained.

If anyone ignores this, he will be ignored.

By faith they crossed the Red Sea as though they were on dry land. When the Egyptians attempted to do this, they were drowned.

He turned the sea into dry land, and they crossed the river on foot. There we rejoiced in him.

The cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

For the LORD your God dried up the water of the Jordan before you until you had crossed over, just as the LORD your God did to the Red Sea, which he dried up before us until we had crossed over.

They will tell it to the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that you, LORD, are among these people, how you, LORD, are seen face to face, how your cloud stands over them, and how you go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night.

He led them safely, and they were not afraid; but the sea covered their enemies.

They traveled from Pi-hahiroth and crossed through the middle of the sea into the wilderness. They took a three-day journey into the Wilderness of Etham and camped at Marah.

Now concerning spiritual gifts: brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be unaware.

The LORD will always lead you, satisfy you in a parched land, and strengthen your bones. You will be like a watered garden and like a spring whose water never runs dry.Some of you will rebuild the ancient ruins; you will restore the foundations laid long ago; you will be called the repairer of broken walls, the restorer of streets where people live.“ If you keep from desecrating the Sabbath, from doing whatever you want on my holy day; if you call the Sabbath a delight, and the holy day of the LORD honorable; if you honor it, not going your own ways, seeking your own pleasure, or talking business;

you did not abandon them in the wilderness because of your great compassion. During the day the pillar of cloud never turned away from them, guiding them on their journey. And during the night the pillar of fire illuminated the way they should go.

The water saw you, God. The water saw you; it trembled. Even the depths shook.The clouds poured down water. The storm clouds thundered; your arrows flashed back and forth.The sound of your thunder was in the whirlwind; lightning lit up the world. The earth shook and quaked.Your way went through the sea and your path through the vast water, but your footprints were unseen.You led your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

He divided the Red Sea His faithful love endures forever.and led Israel through, His faithful love endures forever.but hurled Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea. His faithful love endures forever.

who went before you on the journey to seek out a place for you to camp. He went in the fire by night and in the cloud by day to guide you on the road you were to travel.

The sea looked and fled; the Jordan turned back.The mountains skipped like rams, the hills, like lambs.Why was it, sea, that you fled? Jordan, that you turned back?

And he received the sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while still uncircumcised. This was to make him the father of all who believe but are not circumcised, so that righteousness may be credited to them also.

Then the angel of God, who was going in front of the Israelite forces, moved and went behind them. The pillar of cloud moved from in front of them and stood behind them.It came between the Egyptian and Israelite forces. There was cloud and darkness, it lit up the night, and neither group came near the other all night long.Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea. The LORD drove the sea back with a powerful east wind all that night and turned the sea into dry land. So the waters were divided,and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with the waters like a wall to them on their right and their left.

On the day the tabernacle was set up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, the tent of the testimony, and it appeared like fire above the tabernacle from evening until morning.It remained that way continuously: the cloud would cover it, appearing like fire at night.Whenever the cloud was lifted up above the tent, the Israelites would set out; at the place where the cloud stopped, there the Israelites camped.At the LORD’s command the Israelites set out, and at the LORD’s command they camped. As long as the cloud stayed over the tabernacle, they camped.Even when the cloud stayed over the tabernacle many days, the Israelites carried out the LORD’s requirement and did not set out.Sometimes the cloud remained over the tabernacle for only a few days. They would camp at the LORD’s command and set out at the LORD’s command.Sometimes the cloud remained only from evening until morning; when the cloud lifted in the morning, they set out. Or if it remained a day and a night, they moved out when the cloud lifted.Whether it was two days, a month, or longer, the Israelites camped and did not set out as long as the cloud stayed over the tabernacle. But when it was lifted, they set out.

because if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.

Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews say that the place to worship is in Jerusalem.”

And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, heirs according to the promise.

I also saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who had won the victory over the beast, its image, and the number of its name, were standing on the sea of glass with harps from God.They sang the song of God’s servant Moses and the song of the Lamb: Great and awe-inspiring are your works, Lord God, the Almighty; just and true are your ways, King of the nations.

The LORD went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to lead them on their way during the day and in a pillar of fire to give them light at night, so that they could travel day or night.The pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night never left its place in front of the people.
