Therefore, as the Scriptures say,“ If you want to boast, boast only about the Lord.”

經云：『誇耀者、誇耀天主也可、』此之謂歟。

that, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

in order that, as it is written: The one who boasts must boast in the Lord.

so that, as it is written,“ Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”

that, as it is written,“ He who boasts, let him boast in the Lord.”

This is what the Lord says:“ Don’t let the wise boast in their wisdom, or the powerful boast in their power, or the rich boast in their riches.But those who wish to boast should boast in this alone: that they truly know me and understand that I am the Lord who demonstrates unfailing love and who brings justice and righteousness to the earth, and that I delight in these things. I, the Lord, have spoken!

As the Scriptures say,“ If you want to boast, boast only about the Lord.”

For we who worship by the Spirit of God are the ones who are truly circumcised. We rely on what Christ Jesus has done for us. We put no confidence in human effort,

Then when you swear by my name, saying,‘ As surely as the Lord lives,’ you could do so with truth, justice, and righteousness. Then you would be a blessing to the nations of the world, and all people would come and praise my name.”

Exult in his holy name; rejoice, you who worship the Lord.

You will toss them into the air, and the wind will blow them all away; a whirlwind will scatter them. Then you will rejoice in the Lord. You will glory in the Holy One of Israel.

Cry out,“ Save us, O God of our salvation! Gather and rescue us from among the nations, so we can thank your holy name and rejoice and praise you.”

In the Lord all the generations of Israel will be justified, and in him they will boast.

And even those who advocate circumcision don’t keep the whole law themselves. They only want you to be circumcised so they can boast about it and claim you as their disciples.As for me, may I never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of that cross, my interest in this world has been crucified, and the world’s interest in me has also died.
