I am writing to God’s church in Corinth, to you who have been called by God to be his own holy people. He made you holy by means of Christ Jesus, just as he did for all people everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours.

We are sending this letter to you, the members of God’s church in Corinth. You have been made holy because you belong to Christ Jesus. God has chosen you to be his holy people. He has done the same for all people everywhere who pray to our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is their Lord and ours.

To the church of God that is in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints together with all those who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours:

God has united you with Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made him to be wisdom itself. Christ made us right with God; he made us pure and holy, and he freed us from sin.

Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality,or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people— none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.Some of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy.For the Scriptures say,“ You must be holy because I am holy.”

And he is authorized by the leading priests to arrest everyone who calls upon your name.”

Then Paul left Athens and went to Corinth.

Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth.Just as you sent me into the world, I am sending them into the world.And I give myself as a holy sacrifice for them so they can be made holy by your truth.

You see, we don’t go around preaching about ourselves. We preach that Jesus Christ is Lord, and we ourselves are your servants for Jesus’ sake.

God has called us to live holy lives, not impure lives.

to open their eyes, so they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God. Then they will receive forgiveness for their sins and be given a place among God’s people, who are set apart by faith in me.’

For God’s will was for us to be made holy by the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ, once for all time.

This letter is from Paul, Silas, and Timothy. We are writing to the church in Thessalonica, to you who belong to God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. May God give you grace and peace.

This letter is from Jude, a slave of Jesus Christ and a brother of James. I am writing to all who have been called by God the Father, who loves you and keeps you safe in the care of Jesus Christ.

so that if I am delayed, you will know how people must conduct themselves in the household of God. This is the church of the living God, which is the pillar and foundation of the truth.

But for us, There is one God, the Father, by whom all things were created, and for whom we live. And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created, and through whom we live.

So also Jesus suffered and died outside the city gates to make his people holy by means of his own blood.

If you want the land to the left, then I’ll take the land on the right. If you prefer the land on the right, then I’ll go to the left.”Lot took a long look at the fertile plains of the Jordan Valley in the direction of Zoar. The whole area was well watered everywhere, like the garden of the Lord or the beautiful land of Egypt.( This was before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.)Lot chose for himself the whole Jordan Valley to the east of them. He went there with his flocks and servants and parted company with his uncle Abram.So Abram settled in the land of Canaan, and Lot moved his tents to a place near Sodom and settled among the cities of the plain.But the people of this area were extremely wicked and constantly sinned against the Lord.

For your royal husband delights in your beauty; honor him, for he is your lord.

This is the message of Good News for the people of Israel— that there is peace with God through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.

On his robe at his thigh was written this title: King of all kings and Lord of all lords.

What are you waiting for? Get up and be baptized. Have your sins washed away by calling on the name of the Lord.’

Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead, pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts.

All who heard him were amazed.“ Isn’t this the same man who caused such devastation among Jesus’ followers in Jerusalem?” they asked.“ And didn’t he come here to arrest them and take them in chains to the leading priests?”

He made no distinction between us and them, for he cleansed their hearts through faith.

Crispus, the leader of the synagogue, and everyone in his household believed in the Lord. Many others in Corinth also heard Paul, became believers, and were baptized.One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision and told him,“ Don’t be afraid! Speak out! Don’t be silent!For I am with you, and no one will attack and harm you, for many people in this city belong to me.”So Paul stayed there for the next year and a half, teaching the word of God.

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal comfort and a wonderful hope,comfort you and strengthen you in every good thing you do and say.

This letter is from Paul, chosen by the will of God to be an apostle of Christ Jesus, and from our brother Timothy. I am writing to God’s church in Corinth and to all of his holy people throughout Greece.

If we live, it’s to honor the Lord. And if we die, it’s to honor the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.Christ died and rose again for this very purpose— to be Lord both of the living and of the dead.

So now Jesus and the ones he makes holy have the same Father. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them his brothers and sisters.

Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names,that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

All the brothers and sisters here join me in sending this letter to the churches of Galatia.
