其实不是耶稣亲自施洗，而是他的门徒施洗，）

我们虽然在血气中行事，却不凭着血气争战。因为我们争战的兵器本不是属血气的，而是凭着上帝的能力，能够攻破坚固的营垒。我们攻破各样的计谋，

他就吩咐奉耶稣基督的名给他们施洗。于是他们请彼得住了几天。

我也要救你脱离百姓和外邦人的手。我差你到他们那里去，要开他们的眼睛，使他们从黑暗中转向光明，从撒但权下归向上帝；使他们因信我而得蒙赦罪，和一切成圣的人同得基业。’”

我说的话、讲的道不是用委婉智慧的言语，而是以圣灵的大能来证明，为要使你们的信不靠着人的智慧，而是靠着上帝的大能。

反而把那些暗昧可耻的事弃绝了，不行诡诈，不曲解上帝的道，只将真理显扬出来，好在上帝面前把自己推荐给各人的良心。

因为有人说：“他信上的语气既严厉又强硬，他本人却软弱无能，言语粗俗。”
