我们虽然在世上行事，却不是按照世俗的方式作战，因为我们作战所用的兵器，不是属于这世界的，而是在神面前有能力的，可以攻陷坚固的堡垒，

就吩咐他们奉耶稣基督的名受洗。后来，他们请彼得住了几天。

我要救你脱离这人民和外族人，差遣你到他们那里去，开他们的眼睛，使他们从黑暗中归向光明，从撒但的权下归向神，使他们的罪恶得到赦免，并且在那些因信我而成圣的人中同得基业。’

我说的话、讲的道，都不是用智慧的话去说服人，而是用圣灵和能力来证明，使你们的信不是凭着人的智慧，而是凭着神的能力。

却把暗昧可耻的事弃绝了；不行诡诈，不掺混神的道，反而藉着显扬真理，在神面前把自己推荐给众人的良心。

因为有人说：“他的信又严厉又强硬，他本人却其貌不扬，言语粗俗。”
