I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.

If, then, there is any encouragement in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any affection and mercy,make my joy complete by thinking the same way, having the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose.Do nothing out of selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility consider others as more important than yourselves.Everyone should look not to his own interests, but rather to the interests of others.

Therefore I, the prisoner in the Lord, urge you to walk worthy of the calling you have received,with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love,making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.There is one body and one Spirit— just as you were called to one hope at your calling—one Lord, one faith, one baptism,one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all.Now grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift.

so that there would be no division in the body, but that the members would have the same concern for each other.

Who among you is wise and understanding? By his good conduct he should show that his works are done in the gentleness that comes from wisdom.But if you have bitter envy and selfish ambition in your heart, don’t boast and deny the truth.Such wisdom does not come down from above but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.For where there is envy and selfish ambition, there is disorder and every evil practice.But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without pretense.And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who cultivate peace.

Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud; instead, associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own estimation.

How delightfully good when brothers live together in harmony!

Let all bitterness, anger and wrath, shouting and slander be removed from you, along with all malice.And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.

Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice. Become mature, be encouraged, be of the same mind, be at peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.

Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who create divisions and obstacles contrary to the teaching that you learned. Avoid them,

Just one thing: As citizens of heaven, live your life worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or am absent, I will hear about you that you are standing firm in one spirit, in one accord, contending together for the faith of the gospel,

Therefore I urge you to imitate me.

Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, since God is making his appeal through us. We plead on Christ’s behalf,“ Be reconciled to God.”

For to begin with, I hear that when you come together as a church there are divisions among you, and in part I believe it.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, in view of the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true worship.

I will give them integrity of heart and action so that they will fear me always, for their good and for the good of their descendants after them.

Additionally then, brothers and sisters, we ask and encourage you in the Lord Jesus, that as you have received instruction from us on how you should live and please God— as you are doing— do this even more.For you know what commands we gave you through the Lord Jesus.

Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him: We ask you, brothers and sisters,

Now the entire group of those who believed were of one heart and mind, and no one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but instead they held everything in common.

and to regard them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.

Finally, all of you be like-minded and sympathetic, love one another, and be compassionate and humble,not paying back evil for evil or insult for insult but, on the contrary, giving a blessing, since you were called for this, so that you may inherit a blessing.

I am in them and you are in me, so that they may be made completely one, that the world may know you have sent me and have loved them as you have loved me.

“ I give you a new command: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another.By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

Now may the God who gives endurance and encouragement grant you to live in harmony with one another, according to Christ Jesus,so that you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ with one mind and one voice.

Dear friends, I urge you as strangers and exiles to abstain from sinful desires that wage war against the soul.

In any case, we should live up to whatever truth we have attained.

No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. Otherwise, the new patch pulls away from the old cloth, and a worse tear is made.

No one patches an old garment with unshrunk cloth, because the patch pulls away from the garment and makes the tear worse.

Now I, Paul, myself, appeal to you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ— I who am humble among you in person but bold toward you when absent.

So the crowd was divided because of him.

I beg you, brothers and sisters: Become as I am, for I also have become as you are. You have not wronged me;

I appeal to you, instead, on the basis of love. I, Paul, as an elderly man and now also as a prisoner of Christ Jesus,appeal to you for my son, Onesimus. I became his father while I was in chains.

Some of the Pharisees said,“ This man is not from God, because he doesn’t keep the Sabbath.” But others were saying,“ How can a sinful man perform such signs?” And there was a division among them.

I solemnly charge you before God and Christ Jesus, who is going to judge the living and the dead, and because of his appearing and his kingdom:

Again the Jews were divided because of these words.

Now I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, through our Lord Jesus Christ and through the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in prayers to God on my behalf.

Working together with him, we also appeal to you,“ Don’t receive the grace of God in vain.”

I solemnly charge you before God and Christ Jesus and the elect angels to observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing out of favoritism.
