Am I not an apostle? Am I not free? Have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? Are you not my work in the Lord?If I am not an apostle to others, yet doubtless I am to you. For you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.

until the day in which He was taken up, after He through the Holy Spirit had given commandments to the apostles whom He had chosen,

For I consider that I am not at all inferior to the most eminent apostles.

And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,

to take part in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place.”And they cast their lots, and the lot fell on Matthias. And he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.
