耶希伊利的儿子西坦和他兄弟约珥掌管耶和华殿里的府库。暗兰族、以斯哈族、希伯伦族、乌泄族也有职分。摩西的孙子、革舜的儿子细布业掌管府库。还有他的弟兄以利以谢。以利以谢的儿子是利哈比雅；利哈比雅的儿子是耶筛亚；耶筛亚的儿子是约兰；约兰的儿子是细基利；细基利的儿子是示罗密。这示罗密和他的弟兄掌管府库的圣物，就是大卫王和众族长、千夫长、百夫长，并军长所分别为圣的物。

将王和谋士、军长，并在那里的以色列众人为我们神殿所献的金银和器皿，都秤了交给他们。我秤了交在他们手中的银子有六百五十他连得；银器重一百他连得；金子一百他连得；金碗二十个，重一千达利克；上等光铜的器皿两个，宝贵如金。我对他们说：“你们归耶和华为圣，器皿也为圣；金银是甘心献给耶和华你们列祖之神的。你们当警醒看守，直到你们在耶路撒冷耶和华殿的库内，在祭司长和利未族长，并以色列的各族长面前过了秤。”于是，祭司、利未人按着分量接受金银和器皿，要带到耶路撒冷我们神的殿里。

先是蒙派管理我们神殿中库房的祭司以利亚实与多比雅结亲，便为他预备一间大屋子，就是从前收存素祭、乳香、器皿，和照命令供给利未人、歌唱的、守门的五谷、新酒，和油的十分之一，并归祭司举祭的屋子。
