Their fellow Levites in their villages had to come from time to time and share their duties for seven- day periods.

From time to time, their relatives in their villages had to come to help them. They had to share their duties for a week at a time.

And their kinsmen who were in their villages were obligated to come in every seven days, in turn, to be with these,

The two companies of you, even all who go out on the Sabbath, shall keep the watch of Yahweh’s house around the king.
