以色列王謂其臣僕曰、爾豈不知基列拉末屬我、我乃寂然、不奪之於亞蘭王手乎、遂問約沙法曰、爾願與我偕往基列拉末以戰乎、曰、爾我無異、我民如爾民、我馬如爾馬、又曰、請先諮諏耶和華、以色列王乃集先知、約四百人、謂之曰、我往基列拉末以戰、可否、曰、往哉、主必付之於王手、約沙法曰、在此、非尚有耶和華之先知、可詢之乎、以色列王曰、尚有一人、音拉子米該雅、可藉之諮諏耶和華、然我憾之、因其論我之預言、有凶而無吉、約沙法曰、王勿言是、以色列王召一宦者、曰、速令音拉子米該雅至、以色列王與猶大王約沙法、各衣朝服、坐於位、在撒瑪利亞邑門之場、眾先知預言於其前、基拿拿子西底家曾製鐵角、曰、耶和華云、爾必以此角觸亞蘭人、至於盡滅、眾先知亦如是預言曰、可往基列拉末、而得利達、蓋耶和華將付之於王手、往召米該雅之使謂之曰、諸先知眾口一辭、以吉語告王、請爾與彼同辭、告以吉語、米該雅曰、我指維生之耶和華而誓、耶和華所諭我者、我必言之、既至王前、王曰、米該雅、我儕往基列拉末以戰、可否、曰、可往、而得利達、耶和華必付之王手、王曰、我須幾次囑爾、奉耶和華名與我言、惟以誠實乎、曰、我觀以色列眾散布於山、猶羊無牧、耶和華曰、斯眾無主、可各安歸其家、以色列王謂約沙法曰、我豈不云、彼論我之預言、有凶無吉乎、米該雅曰、其聽耶和華之言、我見耶和華坐於其位、天上萬軍咸侍左右、耶和華曰、誰願誘亞哈往基列拉末、而隕沒乎、其一曰如此、其一曰如彼、後有神出、立於耶和華前曰、我願誘之、曰、何以誘之、曰、我將出為誑言之神、在其眾先知之口、曰、爾往為之、必成其事、今耶和華以誑言之神、置爾眾先知之口、耶和華有言、將加禍於爾、基拿拿子西底家、前批米該雅之頰曰、耶和華之神、自我往與爾言、由於何途、米該雅曰、爾匿密室之日、則必見之、以色列王曰、執米該雅、歸付邑宰亞們、及王子約阿施、告之曰、王命拘此夫於獄、食以艱苦之餅、飲以艱苦之水、待我安歸、米該雅曰、如爾安歸、則是耶和華未藉我而言、又曰、諸民、爾其聽之、○
