以色列人又把避難城，在以法蓮山地的示劍和屬於示劍的草場，給了他們，還有基色和屬於基色的草場，

在以法莲山地得了逃城示剑与其郊野，又得了基色与其郊野，

他们在以法莲山区所得的逃城：示剑与其郊野、基色与其郊野、

其中有以法莲山区的避难城示剑及其周围的草场，还有基色、

即在以法蓮山、示劍及其郊、為逋逃之藪、基色及其郊、

在以法蓮山、得誤殺人者逃避之邑示劍及其郊、又得基色及其郊、

In the hill country of Ephraim they were given Shechem( a city of refuge), and Gezer,

In the hill country of Ephraim they received Shechem. Shechem was a city where people could go for safety. The Kohathites also received Gezer,

They were given the cities of refuge: Shechem with its pasturelands in the hill country of Ephraim, Gezer with its pasturelands,

They gave to them the following cities of refuge: Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim with its pasture lands, Gezer with its pasture lands,

And they gave unto them the cities of refuge, Shechem in the hill- country of Ephraim with its suburbs; Gezer also with its suburbs,

以色列人把誤殺人者的避難城，就是在以法蓮山地的示劍和示劍的郊野，給了他們；又把基色和基色的郊野，給了他們；

他們就把自己手中所有外族人的神像，和自己耳朵上的環子，都交給雅各；雅各把這些東西埋在示劍附近的橡樹底下。

先前埃及王法老上來攻取基色，放火燒城，殺了住在城裡的迦南人，把城送給自己的女兒、所羅門的妻子作嫁妝。

可是他們沒有把住在基色的迦南人趕走，於是迦南人住在以法蓮中間，直到今日，成了作苦工的奴僕。

於是以色列人在拿弗他利山地，把加利利的基低斯分別出來；在以法蓮山地，把示劍分別出來；在猶大山地，把基列．亞巴分別出來，基列．亞巴就是希伯崙；

雅各從巴旦．亞蘭回來的時候，平平安安地到了迦南地的示劍城，在城的對面支搭了帳棚。

一個是伊磯倫王，一個是基色王，

又向西下到押利提人的境界，去到下伯．和崙和基色的境界，直通到海。
