The people rejoiced at the willing response of their leaders, for they had given freely and wholeheartedly to the Lord. David the king also rejoiced greatly.

七七日既過、必守節以奉爾上帝耶和華、既蒙其錫嘏、惟心所願、獻禮物以供役事、爾上帝耶和華特簡之室、為人籲名之所、爾與子女僕婢、及主爾家之利未人、暨賓旅孤寡、俱必欣喜懽忭、於爾上帝耶和華前。

會其友鄰曰亡羊既獲、與我同樂、

人而樂為、則見納、因其所有、非因其所無、

以色列族之牧、與樂從之民、我心愛之、而頌美耶和華。

我所愛慕之兄弟、我所欣詡之良朋、我視爾若冕旒、宜宗主堅立、

秉鈞之日、爾之選民、必衣聖服、靡不樂從、爾之冠者、多於朝露兮、

爾小子、如爾心睿智、我心悅懌。爾口言善、我衷歡樂。

毋間隙、毋駁雜、猶上帝子、處橫逆之境、無疵可議、反光燭於世、爾發明生命之道、迨基督臨日、我行事服勞、不虛為可喜、以爾之信為祀事、以我之血為灌奠以配之、我樂此、而與爾同樂、
