The people rejoiced at the willing response of their leaders, for they had given freely and wholeheartedly to the Lord. David the king also rejoiced greatly.

所以你們當向耶和華－我們的上帝存純正的心，遵行他的律例，謹守他的誡命，如同今日一樣。」

各人要隨心所願，不要為難，不要勉強，因為上帝愛樂捐的人。上帝能將各樣的恩惠多多加給你們，使你們凡事常常充足，能多做各樣善事。

我的上帝啊，我知道你察驗人心，喜悅正直；我以正直的心樂意獻上這一切。現在我歡喜見你的百姓在此樂意奉獻給你。

我靠主大大喜樂，因為你們關懷我的心如今又表現了出來；其實你們一直都關懷我，只是沒有機會罷了。

「我已對你們說了這些事，是要讓我的喜樂存在你們心裏，並讓你們的喜樂得以滿足。

但是，提摩太剛從你們那裏回來，將你們信心和愛心的好消息報給我們，又說你們常常記念我們，切切想見我們，如同我們想見你們一樣。所以，弟兄們，我們在一切困苦患難中，因着你們的信心得到鼓勵。如今你們若靠主站立得穩，我們就得生了。我們在上帝面前，因着你們滿有喜樂。為這一切喜樂，我們能用怎樣的感謝為你們報答上帝呢？

你要向耶和華－你的上帝守七七節，按照耶和華－你上帝所賜你的福，獻上你手裏的甘心祭。你和你的兒女、僕婢，以及住在你城裏的利未人、在你中間寄居的和孤兒寡婦，都要在那裏，耶和華－你上帝選擇作為他名居所的地方，在耶和華－你上帝面前歡樂。

他回到家裏，請朋友和鄰舍來，對他們說：『你們和我一同歡喜吧，我失去的羊已經找到了！』

因為人只要有願做的心，必照他所有的蒙悅納，並不是照他所沒有的。

我心嚮往以色列的領袖，他們在民中甘心犧牲自己。你們應當稱頌耶和華！

我所親愛、所想念的弟兄們，你們就是我的喜樂，我的冠冕。我親愛的，你們應當靠主站立得穩。

你在聖山上掌權的日子，你的子民必甘心跟隨；從晨曦初現，你就有清晨的甘露。

我兒啊，你若心存智慧，我的心就甚歡喜。你的嘴唇若說正直話，我的心腸也必快樂。

好使你們無可指責，誠實無偽，在這彎曲悖謬的世代作上帝無瑕疵的兒女。你們在這世代中要像明光照耀，將生命的道顯明出來，使我在基督的日子得以誇耀我沒有白跑，也沒有徒勞。我以你們的信心為供獻的祭物，我若被澆獻在其上也是喜樂，並且與你們眾人一同喜樂。
