眾既誠心樂輸獻於主、民因之歡悅、大衛王亦欣喜不勝、

The people rejoiced at the willing response of their leaders, for they had given freely and wholeheartedly to the Lord. David the king also rejoiced greatly.

The people were happy when they saw what their leaders had been willing to give. The leaders had given freely. With their whole heart they had given everything to the Lord. King David was filled with joy.

Each person should do as he has decided in his heart— not reluctantly or out of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver.And God is able to make every grace overflow to you, so that in every way, always having everything you need, you may excel in every good work.

I know, my God, that You test the heart and that You are pleased with what is right. I have willingly given all these things with an upright heart, and now I have seen Your people who are present here giving joyfully and willingly to You.

I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that once again you renewed your care for me. You were, in fact, concerned about me but lacked the opportunity to show it.

“ I have spoken these things to you so that My joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.

and coming home, he calls his friends and neighbors together, saying to them,‘ Rejoice with me, because I have found my lost sheep!’

For if the eagerness is there, it is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what he does not have.

My heart is with the leaders of Israel, with the volunteers of the people. Praise the Lord!

So then, my brothers, you are dearly loved and longed for— my joy and crown. In this manner stand firm in the Lord, dear friends.

Your people will volunteer on Your day of battle. In holy splendor, from the womb of the dawn, the dew of Your youth belongs to You.

My son, if your heart is wise, my heart will indeed rejoice.My innermost being will cheer when your lips say what is right.

so that you may be blameless and pure, children of God who are faultless in a crooked and perverted generation, among whom you shine like stars in the world.Hold firmly to the message of life. Then I can boast in the day of Christ that I didn’t run or labor for nothing.But even if I am poured out as a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you.
