The people rejoiced at the willing response of their leaders, for they had given freely and wholeheartedly to the Lord. David the king also rejoiced greatly.

我證其樂助、量力而過之、

歸而集其友鄰、謂之曰、與我同樂、我之亡羊已獲矣、

蓋人而樂為則見納、依所有、非依所無、

以色列之渠魁、在民中樂意出戰者、我心愛之、爾其頌美耶和華、

是以我所愛所慕之兄弟、為我之樂、為我之冕、我所愛者乎、宜堅立於主、○

爾行軍時、爾民必衣聖服、樂心自獻、爾之丁壯、光耀如朝露兮、

我子、爾心若慧、我心則喜、爾口言正、我衷則悅、

俾爾純粹無疵為上帝子、無瑕於邪逆之世、顯為燭世之光、彰明維生之道、俾我可誇於基督之日、以所趨所勞、非徒然也、若以爾信之祭祀奉事、我被灌奠其上、我亦樂之、且與爾眾同樂、
