The people rejoiced at the willing response of their leaders, for they had given freely and wholeheartedly to the Lord. David the king also rejoiced greatly.

The people were happy when they saw what their leaders had been willing to give. The leaders had given freely. With their whole heart they had given everything to the Lord. King David was filled with joy.

因为我可以见证他们是按着自己的能力，甚至超过了自己的能力，甘心乐意，

每个人要照着心里预先定好的，不要为难，也不要勉强，因为神喜爱那乐意给与的人。神能使一切的恩典丰丰富富地临到你们，使你们总是在一切事上都能知足，在一切美善的工作上充实满溢。

我在主里极其欢喜，因为现在你们终于又萌发了思念我的心。其实你们一直在思念我，只是没有机会表达。

“我把这些事告诉了你们，是要我的喜乐在你们里面，并且使你们的喜乐得以满足。

但是，现在提摩太从你们那里来到我们这里，带来了你们信仰和爱心的好消息，并且说你们总是对我们怀着美好的记忆，切切地想见到我们，就像我们也渴望见到你们那样。所以弟兄们，在我们的一切困苦和患难中，由于你们的缘故，藉着你们的信心，我们就受到安慰，因为，你们如果在主里站立得稳，我们如今就真的活了。我们因着你们，在我们的神面前就喜乐；为这一切的喜乐，我们到底能用什么样的感谢为你们回报神呢？

回到家里请朋友和邻居来，对他们说：‘你们与我一同欢乐吧，因为我找到了那只丢失的羊。’

因为人如果有乐意之心，就会照着他所拥有的蒙悦纳，并不是照着他所没有的蒙悦纳。

因此，我所爱的、所想念的弟兄们，我的喜乐、我的冠冕哪！各位蒙爱的人，你们当如此在主里站立得稳！

在你掌权的日子，你的子民都甘心奉献自己；你的少年人以圣洁为装饰，如黎明初晓时的甘露归属你。

我儿啊，如果你的心有智慧，我的心也就欢喜！你的嘴说出正直的话，我的内心就会欢跃。

好使你们成为无可指责、纯洁无伪的人，在这扭曲、败坏的世代中，做神毫无瑕疵的儿女；在这世代中，要像星星的光辉一样照耀在世上。你们要持守生命的话语，好让我在基督的日子里可以夸耀我所奔跑的没有落空，我所劳苦的也没有落空。然而，即使我被做为奠祭，浇在你们信仰的祭物和服事上，我也欢喜，并且和你们大家一同欢喜；
