Now, to show my commitment to the temple of my God, I donate my personal treasure of gold and silver to the temple of my God, in addition to all that I have already supplied for this holy temple.

且因我心中爱慕我神的殿，就在预备建造圣殿的材料之外，又将我自己积蓄的金银献上，建造我神的殿，

此外，因我爱慕我上帝的殿，在预备建造圣殿的一切材料之外，又将我自己积蓄的金银献给我上帝的殿，

此外，因我爱慕我神的殿，在预备建造圣殿的一切材料之外，又将我自己积蓄的金银献给我神的殿，

而且，我因为爱慕我上帝的殿，除了预备以上物品外，还把自己珍藏的金银献上，用来建造我上帝的殿。

不但这样，因我爱慕我神的殿，就在我为建造圣殿预备的一切以外，又把我自己积蓄的金银献给我神的殿：

且因我心中愛慕我神的殿，就在預備建造聖殿的材料之外，又將我自己積蓄的金銀獻上，建造我神的殿，

此外，因我愛慕我上帝的殿，在預備建造聖殿的一切材料之外，又將我自己積蓄的金銀獻給我上帝的殿，

而且，我因為愛慕我上帝的殿，除了預備以上物品外，還把自己珍藏的金銀獻上，用來建造我上帝的殿。

不但這樣，因我愛慕我神的殿，就在我為建造聖殿預備的一切以外，又把我自己積蓄的金銀獻給我神的殿：

不但如此，因我愛慕我的上帝的殿，我就在為聖殿作一切供備之外，又將我自己珍藏的金銀拿出來、作建造我的上帝之殿的用處：

因我慕我上帝室、故於所備建聖室外、以己所儲之金銀、獻於我上帝室、

上帝之殿、我素仰慕、所備建聖室外、取己所有之金銀以獻。

因我甚欣慕我天主之殿、故所備建聖殿外、又以己所有之金銀、獻於我天主之殿、

Besides, in my devotion to the temple of my God I now give my personal treasures of gold and silver for the temple of my God, over and above everything I have provided for this holy temple:

With all my heart I want the temple of my God to be built. So I’m giving my personal treasures of gold and silver for it. I’m adding them to everything else I’ve provided for the holy temple.

Moreover, in addition to all that I have provided for the holy house, I have a treasure of my own of gold and silver, and because of my devotion to the house of my God I give it to the house of my God:

“ And now, because of my devotion to the Temple of my God, I am giving all of my own private treasures of gold and silver to help in the construction. This is in addition to the building materials I have already collected for his holy Temple.

Moreover, because of my delight in the house of my God, I now give my personal treasures of gold and silver for the house of my God over and above all that I’ve provided for the holy house:

In addition, in my delight in the house of my God, the treasure I have of gold and silver, I give to the house of my God, over and above all that I have already provided for the holy temple,

Moreover, because I have set my affection on the house of my God, I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house, my own special treasure of gold and silver:

Moreover also, because I have set my affection on the house of my God, seeing that I have a treasure of mine own of gold and silver, I give it unto the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house,

Moreover, because of my delight in the house of my God, I now give my personal treasures of gold and silver for the house of my God over and above all that I’ve provided for the holy house:

Moreover, because I have set my affection to the house of my God, I have of mine own proper good, of gold and silver,[ which] I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house,

In addition, because I have set my affection on the house of my God, since I have a treasure of my own of gold and silver, I give it to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house,

King David replied to Ornan,“ No, I insist on buying it for top price. I will not offer to the LORD what belongs to you or offer a burnt sacrifice that cost me nothing.

How lovely is the place where you live, O LORD WHO RULES OVER ALL!

Honor the LORD from your wealth and from the first fruits of all your crops;then your barns will be filled completely, and your vats will overflow with new wine.

Now, look, I have made every effort to supply what is needed to build the LORD’s temple. I have stored up 100,000 talents of gold, 1,000,000 talents of silver, and so much bronze and iron it cannot be weighed, as well as wood and stones. Feel free to add more!You also have available many workers, including stonecutters, masons, carpenters, and an innumerable array of workers who are skilledin using gold, silver, bronze, and iron. Get up and begin the work! May the LORD be with you!”

I was glad because they said to me,“ We will go to the LORD’s temple.”Our feet are standing inside your gates, O Jerusalem.Jerusalem is a city designed to accommodate an assembly.The tribes go up there, the tribes of the LORD, where it is required that Israel give thanks to the name of the LORD.Indeed, the leaders sit there on thrones and make legal decisions, on the thrones of the house of David.Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! May those who love her prosper!May there be peace inside your defenses, and prosperity inside your fortresses!For the sake of my brothers and my neighbors I will say,“ May there be peace in you!”For the sake of the temple of the LORD our God I will pray for you to prosper.

O LORD, I love the temple where you live, the place where your splendor is revealed.

Certainly spending just one day in your temple courts is better than spending a thousand elsewhere. I would rather stand at the entrance to the temple of my God than live in the tents of the wicked.

I have asked the LORD for one thing– this is what I desire! I want to live in the LORD’s house all the days of my life, so I can gaze at the splendor of the LORD and contemplate in his temple.

and more cedar logs than could be counted.( The Sidonians and Tyrians had brought a large amount of cedar logs to David.)David said,“ My son Solomon is just an inexperienced young man, and the temple to be built for the LORD must be especially magnificent so it will become famous and be considered splendid by all the nations. Therefore I will make preparations for its construction.” So David made extensive preparations before he died.
