眾於是日、皆大喜樂、式食式飲於主前、以大衛子所羅門再立為王、膏之於主前為君、又膏撒督為大祭司、

They ate and drank with great joy in the presence of the Lord that day. Then they acknowledged Solomon son of David as king a second time, anointing him before the Lord to be ruler and Zadok to be priest.

They ate and drank with great joy that day. They did it in front of the Lord. Then they announced a second time that Solomon was king. He was the son of David. They anointed Solomon in front of the Lord. They anointed him to be ruler. They also anointed Zadok to be priest.

They feasted and drank in the Lord’s presence with great joy that day. And again they crowned David’s son Solomon as their new king. They anointed him before the Lord as their leader, and they anointed Zadok as priest.

大衛壽高年邁、立子所羅門為以色列王、

使祭司撒督、與先知拿單、膏之為以色列王、吹角曰、所羅門王萬歲、爾則隨之而上、使踐我位、蓋彼代我為王、我立之為以色列及猶大之君、耶何耶大子比拿雅曰、阿們、願我主我王之上帝耶和華、亦如是言之、耶和華與我主我王偕、願彼亦如是與所羅門偕、使其國位、較我主大衛王之國位尤大、於是祭司撒督、先知拿單、耶何耶大子比拿雅、及基利提人、比利提人、俱往、使所羅門乘大衛王之騾、送至基訓、祭司撒督由幕中、取盛膏之角、以膏所羅門、乃吹角、民眾呼曰、所羅門王萬歲、

其往樂意以食餅、懽心以飲酒、蓋上帝悅爾所為也、

在彼食於爾上帝耶和華前、與爾眷屬、樂乎爾手所為、即爾上帝耶和華錫嘏之事、

拔示巴伏地拜王曰、我主大衛王萬歲、○

我知世人畢生懽愉行善、無愈於此、人式食式飲、享福於操作、亦上帝所賜也、

所命爾之燔祭、他祭、所應輸之什一、舉祭、及許願於耶和華之美祭、俱當攜之、至爾上帝耶和華所選寄名之處、爾與子女僕婢、及居爾邑無分無業之利未人、咸樂於爾上帝耶和華前、

當諭今世之富有者、志勿高、勿望無定之財、惟望上帝、即厚以百物賜我者、又諭之為善、富於善行、喜於施濟、樂與眾共、

我遂揄揚喜樂、蓋飲食懽愉、人在日下無愈於此、上帝使人生於日下、此福恆在勤勞之中、○

節期之間、爾與子女僕婢、暨居爾邑之利未人、以及賓旅孤寡、俱必喜樂、七日必守節於爾上帝耶和華前、在其所選之處、蓋爾上帝耶和華、於爾物產、及凡所為、錫嘏於爾、必當喜樂不勝、除酵節、七七節、構廬節、爾之丁男、每歲三覲爾上帝耶和華、於其所選之處、毋徒手而至、各依爾上帝耶和華所錫之嘏、隨力以獻、○

民往飲食、亦頒餚饌、懽然喜樂、因明所宣之言也、○

七月二十三日、王遣民眾、各歸其幕、因耶和華施恩於大衛、與所羅門、及其民以色列、皆中心歡悅焉、○

以色列之尊者、上帝不著手加害、彼覲上帝、式飲式食、○

人式食式飲、享福於操作、無善於此、依我觀之、亦由上帝手也、
