在耶和華前、式飲式食、欣喜懽忭、以大闢子所羅門再立為王、奉耶和華命、沐之以膏、俾作民主、以撒督為祭司長、

眾於是日、皆大喜樂、式食式飲於主前、以大衛子所羅門再立為王、膏之於主前為君、又膏撒督為大祭司、

They ate and drank with great joy in the presence of the Lord that day. Then they acknowledged Solomon son of David as king a second time, anointing him before the Lord to be ruler and Zadok to be priest.

They ate and drank with great joy that day. They did it in front of the Lord. Then they announced a second time that Solomon was king. He was the son of David. They anointed Solomon in front of the Lord. They anointed him to be ruler. They also anointed Zadok to be priest.

And they ate and drank before the Lord on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and they anointed him as prince for the Lord, and Zadok as priest.

They feasted and drank in the Lord’s presence with great joy that day. And again they crowned David’s son Solomon as their new king. They anointed him before the Lord as their leader, and they anointed Zadok as priest.

They ate and drank with great joy in the LORD’s presence that day. Then, for a second time, they made David’s son Solomon king; they anointed him as the LORD’s ruler, and Zadok as the priest.

They held a feast before the LORD that day and celebrated. Then they designated Solomon, David’s son, as king a second time; before the LORD they anointed him as ruler and Zadok as priest.

大卫年老，寿数将尽的时候，就立他的儿子所罗门作王统治以色列。

王任命耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅取代约押统领军队；又任命撒督祭司取代亚比亚他的职位。

在那里撒督祭司和拿单先知要膏立他作以色列的王。你们要吹角，说：‘所罗门王万岁！’然后你们要跟随他上来；他要来坐在我的王位上；他要接续我作王。我已经立了他作以色列和犹大的统治者。”耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅回答王说：“阿们！愿耶和华我主我王的神也是这样说。耶和华怎样与我主我王同在，愿他也照样与所罗门同在，使他的王位，比我主大卫王的王位更伟大。”于是撒督祭司、拿单先知和耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅，以及基利提人和比利提人都下去，使所罗门骑上大卫王的骡子，送他到基训去。撒督祭司从帐幕里拿出那盛膏油的角，膏立所罗门；然后有人吹角，众民就说：“所罗门王万岁！”

你只管快快乐乐地去吃你的饭，怀着高兴的心去喝你的酒，因为神已经悦纳了你所作的。

在那里，就是在耶和华你们的神面前，你们和你们的家人都可以吃；并且要因你们手所作的一切事，都蒙耶和华你的神赐福而欢乐。

于是拔示巴面伏在地，向王叩拜，说：“愿我主大卫王万岁！”

我晓得人生最好是寻乐享福，人人有吃有喝，在自己的一切劳碌中自得其乐；这就是神的恩赐。

那时，你要把我吩咐你们的燔祭和其他的祭物、十分之一的礼物和手中的贡献，以及你们向耶和华许愿要献的最美的一切还愿祭，都要带到耶和华你们的神选择作为立他名的地方。你们和你们的儿女、仆婢，以及住在你们城里的利未人，都要在耶和华你们的神面前欢乐，因为利未人在你们中间无分无业。

你要嘱咐那些今世富有的人，叫他们不要心高气傲，也不要寄望在浮动的财富上，却要仰望那厚赐百物给我们享用的神。又要嘱咐他们行善，在善事上富足，慷慨好施。

于是我称颂快乐，因为人在日光之下最好是吃喝快乐。这是人在日光之下，神赐给他一生的年日里，从自己劳碌中所得的享受。

在这节期以内，你和你的儿女、仆婢，以及住在你城里的利未人、寄居者、孤儿和寡妇，都要欢乐。你要在耶和华选择的地方，向耶和华你的神守节七日，因为耶和华你的神，要在你一切土产上，和你手所作的一切事上，赐福给你，你就满有欢乐。每年三次，就是在除酵节、七七节、住棚节，你所有的男丁都要在耶和华选择的地方，朝见耶和华你的神；但不可空手朝见耶和华。各人要按手中的力量，照着耶和华你的神赐你的福，奉献礼物。

众民就去吃喝，也把部分饮食与人分享，大大欢乐。因为他们明白教训他们的话。

七月二十三日，王遣散众民回家；他们因看见耶和华向大卫、所罗门和他的子民以色列所施的恩惠，心里都欢喜快乐。

他不伸手攻击以色列人中的显贵；他们看见神，并且又吃又喝。

人最好是吃喝，在自己的劳碌中自得其乐；我看这也是出于神的手。
