亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的神，也就是我們祖先的神，已經榮耀了他的僕人耶穌。你們竟然把他交出去，並且在彼拉多判定要釋放他的時候，在彼拉多面前拒絕了他。

神哪，求你為我造一顆純淨的心，使我裡面重新有堅定的靈！

我正是深信這一點：就是在你們裡面開始了美善工作的那一位，將會完成這工作，直到基督耶穌的日子。

耶和華啊，我盼望你的救恩，我遵行你的誡命！

耶和華啊，你垂聽了卑微人的願望！你使他們的心堅定；你側耳傾聽，

願神我們的父和我們的主耶穌，親自引導我們的道路到你們那裡去。

『我是亞伯拉罕的神、以撒的神、雅各的神。』神不是死人的神，而是活人的神。」

願我們的主耶穌基督自己和神我們的父，就是愛我們又在恩典中把永恆的安慰和美好的盼望賜給我們的那一位，安慰你們的心，並且在一切美善的工作和言語上堅固你們。

耶和華看到人在地上罪惡深重，而且人心裡的每個意念動機終日都是邪惡的。

我恨惡心懷二意的人，但我愛你的律法。

我是這樣禱告的：願你們的愛心能在真正的知識和一切分辨力上，越來越豐足有餘，使你們能分辨是非，好在基督的日子裡是純潔、無可指責的，並且充滿了那藉著耶穌基督而來的義行果子，歸於神的榮耀和稱讚。
