『我算甚麼，我的人民算甚麼，竟有力量能這樣甘心自願地奉獻呀？萬物都是從你而來的；我們只把從你手裏得來的獻與你罷了。

“我算什么，我的民算什么，竟能如此乐意奉献？因为万物都从你而来，我们把从你而得的献给你。

“我算什么，我的百姓算什么，竟然能够如此乐意奉献？因为万物都从你而来，我们把从你的手得来的献给你。

“我算什么，我的百姓算什么，竟然能够如此乐意奉献？因为万物都从你而来，我们把从你的手得来的献给你。

“我算什么，我的人民算什么，怎么配向你奉献？因为万物都从你而来，我们只是把从你那里得来的献给你。

我算什么？我的人民又算什么？竟有力量这样乐意奉献？因为万物都是从你而来，我们只是把从你手里得来的，奉献给你。

我何人斯、我民為誰、乃能如此樂輸、蓋萬物由爾而來、我儕以屬爾者獻於爾也、

我何人斯、焉敢當樂輸之名、萬物由爾出、仍以爾物為獻。

我為誰、我民為誰、乃能如此樂輸而獻於主乎、萬物由主而來、所獻於主者、悉由主而得、

“ But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.

“ But who am I? And who are my people? Without your help we wouldn’t be able to give this much. Everything comes from you. We’ve given back to you only what comes from you.

“ But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able thus to offer willingly? For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you.

But who am I, and who are my people, that we could give anything to you? Everything we have has come from you, and we give you only what you first gave us!

But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? For everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your own hand.

“ But who am I and who are my people that we should be able to offer as generously as this? For all things come from You, and from Your hand we have given to You.

But who am I, and who are my people, That we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from You, And of Your own we have given You.

But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.

But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? For everything comes from You, and we have given You only what comes from Your own hand.

But who[ am] I, and what[ is] my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things[ come] of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.

“ But who am I and who are my people, that we should be in a position to contribute this much? Indeed, everything comes from you, and we have simply given back to you what is yours.

But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from you, and we have given you of your own.

並不是說我們憑着自己能夠以甚麼事為出於自己。我們之所以能夠的、乃是出於上帝；

他對我說：『我的恩是夠你用的；因為能力是在軟弱上才顯得完全的。』所以我頂喜歡、寧可拿種種軟弱來誇口，好讓基督的能力來住在我身上。故此我為基督的緣故、就以種種的軟弱、凌辱、艱難、逼迫和困迫、為可喜悅；因為我甚麼時候軟弱，我甚麼時候就有能力而剛強。我成了糊塗人，是你們強逼我的。我本該受你們稱許才是呢。我雖算不了甚麼，卻沒有一件趕不上那些超等的「使徒」啊。

一切美好的施與和各樣完美的恩賞、都是從上頭、從眾光之父降下來的；在他並沒有變換或轉動之陰影。

萬有都本於他，藉着他，歸於他；願榮耀歸於他，萬世無窮！阿們。

我，我原是使徒中最小的，不配稱為使徒，因為我曾逼迫了上帝的教會。然而靠着上帝的恩，我成了我現在這樣的人；並且他所給我的恩也不見得是空的；不，我反而比他們眾人還勞苦呢；其實並不是我，乃是上帝的恩與我同在。

你向你僕人所施的一切慈愛一切忠信，我是太渺小而不配得的。我先前只拿着我的行杖過這約但河，如今我竟成了兩營了。

永恆主啊，不要將榮耀歸於我們；不要歸於我們；要因你的堅愛和忠信歸於你名下。

王應時說：『這豈不是大巴比倫，我用我財力的權勢所建築、做王家宮殿，要顯示我威嚴之光榮的麼？』

眾民就因這些人甘心自願的奉獻而歡喜，因為他們都全心自願地奉獻與永恆主；大衛王也大大歡喜快樂。

於是大衛王進去，恭坐在永恆主面前，說：『我主永恆主啊，我是誰，我的家算甚麼，你竟帶領了我到這地步？

因為是上帝、為了成全他的美意而運用動力於你們身上，使你們也立志也力行的。

因為森林中的百獸是我的，千山上的牲畜是我的。空中的飛鳥我都認識；野地的動物都屬於我。就使我餓了，我也不用告訴你；因為世界和其中所充滿的、都是我的。

二十四位長老總俯伏在坐寶座者面前，敬拜那永遠活着、世世無窮的，總把他們的華冠丟在寶座前，說：

每逢安息週的第一日、你們各人總要照自己所得的贏餘、放在身邊儲藏着，免得我來時捐款才要現湊。

我所立為聖柱的這根石頭就必做上帝的殿；凡你所賜給我的、我必將十分之一獻與你。』
