“ As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him wholeheartedly and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever.

“ And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands every desire and every thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever.

“ My son Solomon, always remember the God of your father. Serve him with all your heart. Do it with a mind that wants to obey him. The Lord looks deep down inside every heart. He understands every desire and every thought. If you look to him, you will find him. But if you desert him, he will turn his back on you forever.

“ And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve him with a whole heart and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches all hearts and understands every plan and thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever.

“ And Solomon, my son, learn to know the God of your ancestors intimately. Worship and serve him with your whole heart and a willing mind. For the Lord sees every heart and knows every plan and thought. If you seek him, you will find him. But if you forsake him, he will reject you forever.

“ As for you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve him wholeheartedly and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches every heart and understands the intention of every thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you abandon him, he will reject you forever.

“ As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.

And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for Jehovah searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.

“ As for you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a whole heart and a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands the intention of every thought. If you seek Him, He will be found by you, but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever.

And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.

“ And you, Solomon my son, obey the God of your father and serve him with a submissive attitude and a willing spirit, for the LORD examines all minds and understands every motive of one’s thoughts. If you seek him, he will let you find him, but if you abandon him, he will reject you permanently.

You, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for Yahweh searches all hearts, and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever.

And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.

Come close to God and He will come close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double minded.Be miserable, and mourn, and weep; let your laughter be turned into mourning, and your joy into gloom.Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.Do not speak against one another, brothers and sisters. The one who speaks against a brother or sister, or judges his brother or sister, speaks against the law and judges the law; but if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge of it.

Seek the Lord while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near.Let the wicked abandon his way, And the unrighteous person his thoughts; And let him return to the Lord, And He will have compassion on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.

“ Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.

I will also give them a heart to know Me, for I am the Lord; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me wholeheartedly.

Your hearts therefore shall be wholly devoted to the Lord our God, to walk in His statutes and to keep His commandments, as at this day.”

My son, if you will receive my words And treasure my commandments within you,Make your ear attentive to wisdom; Incline your heart to understanding.For if you cry out for insight, And raise your voice for understanding;If you seek her as silver And search for her as for hidden treasures;Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And discover the knowledge of God.For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.

and he went out to meet Asa and said to him,“ Listen to me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin: the Lord is with you when you are with Him. And if you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you abandon Him, He will abandon you.

And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, For You, Lord, have not abandoned those who seek You.

But the Lord said to Samuel,“ Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God does not see as man sees, since man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, To give to each person according to his ways, According to the results of his deeds.

You know when I sit down and when I get up; You understand my thought from far away.

But My righteous one will live by faith; And if he shrinks back, My soul has no pleasure in him.But we are not among those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith for the safekeeping of the soul.

but let the one who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord who exercises mercy, justice, and righteousness on the earth; for I delight in these things,” declares the Lord.

Listen to the word of the Lord, you sons of Israel, Because the Lord has a case against the inhabitants of the land, For there is no faithfulness, nor loyalty, Nor knowledge of God in the land.

And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

Since I know, my God, that You put the heart to the test and delight in uprightness, I, in the integrity of my heart, have willingly offered all these things; so now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here, make their offerings willingly to You.Lord, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, keep this forever in the intentions of the hearts of Your people, and direct their hearts to You;and give my son Solomon a perfect heart to keep Your commandments, Your testimonies, and Your statutes, and to do them all, and to build the temple for which I have made provision.”

I have not spoken in secret, In some dark land; I did not say to the offspring of Jacob,‘ Seek Me in a wasteland’; I, the Lord, speak righteousness, Declaring things that are right.

They will not teach again, each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying,‘ Know the Lord,’ for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares the Lord,“ for I will forgive their wrongdoing, and their sin I will no longer remember.”

“ But if you or your sons indeed turn away from following Me, and do not keep My commandments and My statutes which I have placed before you, but you go and serve other gods and worship them,then I will cut Israel off from the land which I have given them, and the house which I have consecrated for My name, I will expel from My sight. So Israel will become a saying and an object of derision among all peoples.And this house will become a heap of ruins; everyone who passes by it will be appalled and hiss and say,‘ Why has the Lord done such a thing to this land and this house?’And they will say,‘ Because they abandoned the Lord their God, who brought their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and they adopted other gods and worshiped and served them, for that reason the Lord has brought all this adversity on them.’ ”

“ Please, Lord, just remember how I have walked before You wholeheartedly and in truth, and have done what is good in Your sight!” And Hezekiah wept profusely.

The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; This is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.

Then the people rejoiced because they had offered so willingly, for they made their offering to the Lord wholeheartedly, and King David also rejoiced greatly.

He pled the cause of the afflicted and the poor, Then it was well. Is that not what it means to know Me?” Declares the Lord.

then hear in heaven, Your dwelling place, and forgive and act, and give to each in accordance with all his ways, whose heart You know— for You alone know the hearts of all mankind—

I will carefully attend to the blameless way. When will You come to me? I will walk within my house in the integrity of my heart.

So having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now proclaiming to mankind that all people everywhere are to repent,

And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him to whom we must answer.

Please let the evil of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous; For the righteous God puts hearts and minds to the test.

Then it will come about, when many evils and troubles find them, that this song will testify before them as a witness( for it shall not be forgotten from the mouth of their descendants); for I know their inclination which they are developing today, before I bring them into the land which I swore.”

He did what was right in the sight of the Lord and walked entirely in the way of his father David, and did not turn aside to the right or to the left.

Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let’s show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe;

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Since you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being My priest. Since you have forgotten the Law of your God, I also will forget your children.

And they prayed and said,“ You, Lord, who know the hearts of all people, show which one of these two You have chosen

You were shown these things so that you might know that the Lord, He is God; there is no other besides Him.

He* said to him the third time,“ Simon, son of John, do you love Me?” Peter was hurt because He said to him the third time,“ Do you love Me?” And he said to Him,“ Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus* said to him,“ Tend My sheep.

If they listen and serve Him, They will end their days in prosperity, And their years in happiness.But if they do not listen, they will perish by the sword, And die without knowledge.

and because He did not need anyone to testify about mankind, for He Himself knew what was in mankind.

For God, who said,“ Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a depraved mind, to do those things that are not proper,people having been filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, and evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, and malice; they are gossips,

For I was ashamed to request from the king troops and horsemen to protect us from the enemy on the way, because we had said to the king,“ The hand of our God is favorably disposed to all who seek Him, but His power and His anger are against all those who abandon Him.”

‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ It will come about on that day, that thoughts will come into your mind and you will devise an evil plan,

The Lord smelled the soothing aroma, and the Lord said to Himself,“ I will never again curse the ground on account of man, for the intent of man’s heart is evil from his youth; and I will never again destroy every living thing, as I have done.

The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, But the Lord tests hearts.

Go and gather the elders of Israel together and say to them,‘ The Lord, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob has appeared to me, saying,“ I am indeed concerned about you and what has been done to you in Egypt.

For while I was passing through and examining the objects of your worship, I also found an altar with this inscription,‘ TO AN UNKNOWN GOD.’ Therefore, what you worship in ignorance, this I proclaim to you.

shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and not with greed but with eagerness;

The Lord said to Moses,“ Behold, you are about to lie down with your fathers; and this people will arise and play the prostitute with the foreign gods of the land into the midst of which they are going, and they will abandon Me and break My covenant which I have made with them.Then My anger will be kindled against them on that day, and I will abandon them and hide My face from them, and they will be consumed, and many evils and troubles will find them; so they will say on that day,‘ Is it not because our God is not among us that these evils have found us?’

But, Lord of armies, who judges righteously, Who puts the feelings and the heart to the test, Let me see Your vengeance on them, For to You I have committed my cause.

He will call to Me,‘ You are my Father, My God, and the rock of my salvation.’

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my savior, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Then Solomon said,“ You have shown great faithfulness to Your servant David my father, according as he walked before You in truth, righteousness, and uprightness of heart toward You; and You have reserved for him this great faithfulness, that You have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.

Yet, Lord of armies, who tests the righteous, Who sees the mind and the heart; Let me see Your vengeance on them, For to You I have disclosed my cause.

Jesus saw Nathanael coming to Him, and* said of him,“ Here is truly an Israelite, in whom there is no deceit!”

and you have not come to know Him, but I know Him. And if I say that I do not know Him, I will be a liar like you; but I do know Him, and I follow His word.

And I will kill her children with plague, and all the churches will know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts; and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.

But wrongdoers and sinners together will be broken, And those who abandon the Lord will come to an end.

Then behold, the Lord was standing above it and said,“ I am the Lord, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and to your descendants.

Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of mankind was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of their hearts was only evil continually.

For if the willingness is present, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.

Sober up morally and stop sinning, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.

Each one must do just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

hear in heaven Your dwelling place, and act in accordance with all for which the foreigner calls to You, in order that all the peoples of the earth may know Your name, to fear You, as do Your people Israel, and that they may know that this house which I have built is called by Your name.
