And of all my sons( for the Lord has given me many sons) He has chosen my son Solomon to sit on the throne of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel.

Of all my sons— and the Lord has given me many— he has chosen my son Solomon to sit on the throne of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel.

The Lord has given me many sons. From all of them he has chosen my son Solomon. He wants Solomon to sit on the throne of the Lord’ s kingdom. He wants him to rule over Israel.

And of all my sons( for the Lord has given me many sons) he has chosen Solomon my son to sit on the throne of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel.

And from among my sons— for the Lord has given me many— he chose Solomon to succeed me on the throne of Israel and to rule over the Lord’s kingdom.

And out of all my sons— for the LORD has given me many sons— he has chosen my son Solomon to sit on the throne of the LORD’s kingdom over Israel.

Of all my sons( for the Lord has given me many sons), He has chosen my son Solomon to sit on the throne of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel.

And of all my sons( for Jehovah hath given me many sons), he hath chosen Solomon my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of Jehovah over Israel.

And out of all my sons— for the Lord has given me many sons— He has chosen my son Solomon to sit on the throne of the Lord’s kingdom over Israel.

And of all my sons,( for the LORD hath given me many sons,) he hath chosen Solomon my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of the LORD over Israel.

From all the many sons the LORD has given me, he chose Solomon my son to rule on his behalf over Israel.

Of all my sons( for Yahweh has given me many sons), he has chosen Solomon my son to sit on the throne of Yahweh’s kingdom over Israel.

Now these were the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron: The firstborn was Amnon, by Ahinoam the Jezreelitess; the second, Daniel, by Abigail the Carmelitess;the third, Absalom the son of Maacah, the daughter of Talmai, king of Geshur; the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith;the fifth, Shephatiah, by Abital; the sixth, Ithream, by his wife Eglah.These six were born to him in Hebron. There he reigned seven years and six months, and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty-three years.And these were born to him in Jerusalem: Shimea, Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon— four by Bathshua the daughter of Ammiel.Also there were Ibhar, Elishama, Eliphelet,Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia,Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet— nine in all.These were all the sons of David, besides the sons of the concubines, and Tamar their sister.

So when David was old and full of days, he made his son Solomon king over Israel.

Behold, a son shall be born to you, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies all around. His name shall be Solomon, for I will give peace and quietness to Israel in his days.He shall build a house for My name, and he shall be My son, and I will be his Father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.’

And I will establish him in My house and in My kingdom forever; and his throne shall be established forever.”’”

Give the king Your judgments, O God, And Your righteousness to the king’s Son.He will judge Your people with righteousness, And Your poor with justice.The mountains will bring peace to the people, And the little hills, by righteousness.He will bring justice to the poor of the people; He will save the children of the needy, And will break in pieces the oppressor.They shall fear You As long as the sun and moon endure, Throughout all generations.He shall come down like rain upon the grass before mowing, Like showers that water the earth.In His days the righteous shall flourish, And abundance of peace, Until the moon is no more.He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, And from the River to the ends of the earth.Those who dwell in the wilderness will bow before Him, And His enemies will lick the dust.The kings of Tarshish and of the isles Will bring presents; The kings of Sheba and Seba Will offer gifts.Yes, all kings shall fall down before Him; All nations shall serve Him.For He will deliver the needy when he cries, The poor also, and him who has no helper.He will spare the poor and needy, And will save the souls of the needy.He will redeem their life from oppression and violence; And precious shall be their blood in His sight.And He shall live; And the gold of Sheba will be given to Him; Prayer also will be made for Him continually, And daily He shall be praised.There will be an abundance of grain in the earth, On the top of the mountains; Its fruit shall wave like Lebanon; And those of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.His name shall endure forever; His name shall continue as long as the sun. And men shall be blessed in Him; All nations shall call Him blessed.Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, Who only does wondrous things!And blessed be His glorious name forever! And let the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen and Amen.The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.

For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

Then Solomon sat on the throne of the Lord as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.

And Solomon said to God:“ You have shown great mercy to David my father, and have made me king in his place.Now, O Lord God, let Your promise to David my father be established, for You have made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.

Furthermore King David said to all the assembly:“ My son Solomon, whom alone God has chosen, is young and inexperienced; and the work is great, because the temple is not for man but for the Lord God.

Then David took more wives in Jerusalem, and David begot more sons and daughters.And these are the names of his children whom he had in Jerusalem: Shammua, Shobab, Nathan, Solomon,Ibhar, Elishua, Elpelet,Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia,Elishama, Beeliada, and Eliphelet.
