But God said to me,‘ You shall not build a house for My name, because you have been a man of war and have shed blood.’

只是神对我说：‘你不可为我的名建造殿宇；因你是战士，流了人的血。’

只是上帝对我说：‘你不可为我的名建造殿宇，因你是战士，流了人的血。’

但上帝对我说，‘你不可为我的名建造殿宇，因为你是个战士，曾流过人的血。’

可是神对我说：‘你不可为我的名建造殿宇，因为你是个战士，曾杀人流血。’

只是神對我說：『你不可為我的名建造殿宇；因你是戰士，流了人的血。』

只是上帝對我說：『你不可為我的名建造殿宇，因你是戰士，流了人的血。』

只是神對我說：『你不可為我的名建造殿宇，因你是戰士，流了人的血。』

但上帝對我說，『你不可為我的名建造殿宇，因為你是個戰士，曾流過人的血。』

可是神對我說：‘你不可為我的名建造殿宇，因為你是個戰士，曾殺人流血。’

只是上帝對我說：『你不可為我的名建殿，因為你是戰士，你流了人的血。』

惟上帝諭我曰、爾乃戰士、流人之血、不可為我名建室、

上帝諭我曰、爾戰鬥殺人、不當建殿、為籲我名之地。

惟天主諭我曰、爾多戰殺人、殺人原文作流血不當為我名建殿、

But God said to me,‘ You are not to build a house for my Name, because you are a warrior and have shed blood.’

But God said to me,‘ You are not the one who will build a house for my Name. That is because you are a fighting man. You have spilled people’s blood.’

But God said to me,‘ You may not build a house for my name, for you are a man of war and have shed blood.’

but God said to me,‘ You must not build a Temple to honor my name, for you are a warrior and have shed much blood.’

but God said to me,‘ You are not to build a house for my name because you are a man of war and have shed blood.’

But God said to me,‘ You shall not build a house for My name, because you are a man of war and have shed blood.’

But God said unto me, Thou shalt not build a house for my name, because thou art a man of war, and hast shed blood.

but God said to me,‘ You are not to build a house for My name because you are a man of war and have shed blood.’

But God said unto me, Thou shalt not build an house for my name, because thou[ hast been] a man of war, and hast shed blood.

But God said to me,‘ You must not build a temple to honor me, for you are a warrior and have spilled blood.’

But God said to me,‘ You shall not build a house for my name, because you are a man of war, and have shed blood.’

but the word of the Lord came to me, saying,‘ You have shed much blood and have made great wars; you shall not build a house for My name, because you have shed much blood on the earth in My sight.

“ Go and tell My servant David,‘ Thus says the Lord:“ You shall not build Me a house to dwell in.

But the Lord said to my father David,‘ Whereas it was in your heart to build a temple for My name, you did well in that it was in your heart.Nevertheless you shall not build the temple, but your son who will come from your body, he shall build the temple for My name.’

You know how my father David could not build a house for the name of the Lord his God because of the wars which were fought against him on every side, until the Lord put his foes under the soles of his feet.

“ Go and tell My servant David,‘ Thus says the Lord:“ Would you build a house for Me to dwell in?For I have not dwelt in a house since the time that I brought the children of Israel up from Egypt, even to this day, but have moved about in a tent and in a tabernacle.Wherever I have moved about with all the children of Israel, have I ever spoken a word to anyone from the tribes of Israel, whom I commanded to shepherd My people Israel, saying,‘ Why have you not built Me a house of cedar?’”’Now therefore, thus shall you say to My servant David,‘ Thus says the Lord of hosts:“ I took you from the sheepfold, from following the sheep, to be ruler over My people, over Israel.And I have been with you wherever you have gone, and have cut off all your enemies from before you, and have made you a great name, like the name of the great men who are on the earth.Moreover I will appoint a place for My people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own and move no more; nor shall the sons of wickedness oppress them anymore, as previously,since the time that I commanded judges to be over My people Israel, and have caused you to rest from all your enemies. Also the Lord tells you that He will make you a house.“ When your days are fulfilled and you rest with your fathers, I will set up your seed after you, who will come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom.He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.
