大衛王站起來，說：「我的弟兄，我的百姓啊，請聽我說！我心裏本想建造殿宇，安放耶和華的約櫃，作為我們上帝的腳凳，並且我已經預備了建造的材料。

大卫王就站起来，说：“我的弟兄，我的百姓啊，你们当听我言，我心里本想建造殿宇，安放耶和华的约柜，作为我神的脚凳；我已经预备建造的材料。

大卫王站起来，说：“我的弟兄，我的百姓啊，请听我说！我心里本想建造殿宇，安放耶和华的约柜，作为我们上帝的脚凳，并且我已经预备了建造的材料。

大卫王站起来说：“我的弟兄，我的人民啊，请听我说。我本想建造一座殿宇安放耶和华的约柜，作我们上帝的脚凳，我已准备好建造的材料。

大卫王站起来，说：“我的兄弟，我的人民哪，你们要听我的话；我心里有意要建造一所安放耶和华的约柜的殿宇，作我们的神的脚凳，并且我已经准备好要建造。

大衛王就站起來，說：「我的弟兄，我的百姓啊，你們當聽我言，我心裏本想建造殿宇，安放耶和華的約櫃，作為我神的腳凳；我已經預備建造的材料。

大衛王站起來說：「我的弟兄，我的人民啊，請聽我說。我本想建造一座殿宇安放耶和華的約櫃，作我們上帝的腳凳，我已準備好建造的材料。

大衛王站起來，說：“我的兄弟，我的人民哪，你們要聽我的話；我心裡有意要建造一所安放耶和華的約櫃的殿宇，作我們的神的腳凳，並且我已經準備好要建造。

大衛王站起來，說：『我的弟兄、我的人民啊，你們要聽我；我心裏本有意思要為永恆主的約櫃建造一座安居之殿、作為我們之上帝的腳凳；我並且已經準備好要建造了。

大衛王立而言曰、我昆弟、我民歟、其聽我言、我有意建室、安置耶和華之約匱、而為我上帝之足几、已備具以待建造、

大闢王立、而告民曰、爾為我民、亦我兄弟、宜聽我言、我素志欲建殿宇、置我上帝耶和華法匱、及駐蹕之所、我曾備材、以待經營。

大衛王起立曰、我兄弟、我民歟、宜聽我言、我意欲建殿宇、安置主之約匱、為我天主駐蹕駐蹕原文作足蹬之所、我已備材以待建造、

King David rose to his feet and said:“ Listen to me, my fellow Israelites, my people. I had it in my heart to build a house as a place of rest for the ark of the covenant of the Lord, for the footstool of our God, and I made plans to build it.

King David stood up. He said,“ All of you Israelites, listen to me. With all my heart I wanted to build a house for the Lord. I wanted it to be a place of peace and rest for the ark of the covenant of the Lord. The ark is the stool for our God’s feet. I made plans to build the Lord’ s house.

Then King David rose to his feet and said:“ Hear me, my brothers and my people. I had it in my heart to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the Lord and for the footstool of our God, and I made preparations for building.

David rose to his feet and said:“ My brothers and my people! It was my desire to build a Temple where the Ark of the Lord’s Covenant, God’s footstool, could rest permanently. I made the necessary preparations for building it,

Then King David rose to his feet and said,“ Listen to me, my brothers and my people. It was in my heart to build a house as a resting place for the ark of the LORD’s covenant and as a footstool for our God. I had made preparations to build,

Then King David rose to his feet and said,“ Listen to me, my brothers and my people; I had intended to build a permanent home for the ark of the covenant of the Lord and for the footstool of our God. So I had made preparations to build it.

Then King David rose to his feet and said,“ Hear me, my brethren and my people: I had it in my heart to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and for the footstool of our God, and had made preparations to build it.

Then David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people: as for me, it was in my heart to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, and for the footstool of our God; and I had made ready for the building.

Then King David rose to his feet and said,“ Listen to me, my brothers and my people. It was in my heart to build a house as a resting place for the ark of the Lord’s covenant and as a footstool for our God. I had made preparations to build,

Then David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people:[ As for me], I[ had] in mine heart to build an house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and for the footstool of our God, and had made ready for the building:

King David rose to his feet and said:“ Listen to me, my brothers and my people. I wanted to build a temple where the ark of the LORD’s covenant could be placed as a footstool for our God. I have made the preparations for building it.

Then David the king stood up on his feet, and said,“ Hear me, my brothers, and my people! As for me, it was in my heart to build a house of rest for the ark of Yahweh’s covenant, and for the footstool of our God; and I had prepared for the building.

耶和華如此說：「天是我的座位；地是我的腳凳。你們能為我造怎樣的殿宇呢？哪裏是我安歇的地方呢？

當尊崇耶和華－我們的上帝，在他腳凳前下拜。他本為聖！

大衛住在自己宮中，對拿單先知說：「看哪，我住在香柏木的宮中，耶和華的約櫃卻在幔子裏。」拿單對大衛說：「你可以完全照你的心意去做，因為上帝與你同在。」

唉！主竟發怒，使黑雲遮蔽錫安！他將以色列的華美從天扔在地上，在他發怒的日子並不顧念自己的腳凳。

免得他的心向弟兄高傲，偏離了這誡命，或向右或向左。這樣，他和他的子孫就可以長久作王治理以色列。」

「這是我永遠安歇之所；我要住在這地方，因為我願意在這裏。

王的臣僕也來為我們的主大衛王祝福，說：『願上帝使所羅門的名比你的名更尊榮，使他的王位比你的王位更大。』王在床上屈身敬拜，

大衛吩咐人召集住以色列地的寄居者，又派石匠鑿石頭，要建造上帝的殿。大衛預備許多鐵，要做門上的釘子和鈎子，又預備許多銅，多得無法可秤；還有無數的香柏木，因為西頓人和推羅人給大衛運了許多香柏木來。大衛說：「我兒子所羅門還年幼脆弱，要為耶和華建造的殿宇必須高大輝煌，使名聲榮耀傳遍萬國，所以我要為殿預備。」於是，大衛在未死之前預備了許多材料。

因那使人成聖的，和那些得以成聖的，都是出於一。為這緣故，他稱他們為弟兄也不以為恥，說：「我要將你的名傳給我的弟兄，在會眾中我要頌揚你。」

大衛奪了哈大底謝臣僕擁有的金盾牌，帶到耶路撒冷。大衛又從哈大底謝的提巴和均二城奪取了許多的銅；後來所羅門用這些銅製造銅海、銅柱和銅器。哈馬王陀烏聽見大衛擊敗瑣巴王哈大底謝的全軍，就派他兒子哈多蘭到大衛王那裏，向他請安，為他祝福，因他與哈大底謝爭戰，並且擊敗了他；原來哈大底謝與陀烏常常爭戰。哈多蘭帶了金銀銅的各樣器皿來。大衛王把這些器皿，以及從各國奪來的金銀，就是從以東、摩押、亞捫人、非利士人、亞瑪力所奪來的，都分別為聖獻給耶和華。

你一定要立耶和華－你上帝所揀選的人為你的王。要從你弟兄中立一人為你的王，不可立你弟兄之外的外邦人治理你。

我父大衛的心意是要為耶和華－以色列上帝的名建殿。耶和華卻對我父大衛說：『你有心為我的名建殿，這心意是好的；

王住在自己宮中，耶和華使他平靜，不被四圍的仇敵擾亂。王對拿單先知說：「你看，我住在香柏木的宮中，上帝的約櫃卻停在幔子裏。」

這些是約櫃安設之後，大衛派在耶和華殿中管理歌唱事奉的人。

我要將你的名傳給我的弟兄，在會眾中我要讚美你。

『主說：天是我的寶座，地是我的腳凳。你們要為我造怎樣的殿宇？哪裏是我安歇的地方呢？

「我必不進我的帳幕，也不上我的床鋪；我不容我的眼睛睡覺，也不容我的眼皮打盹；直等到我為耶和華尋得所在，為雅各的大能者尋得居所。」我們聽說約櫃在以法他，我們在雅珥的田野尋見它。「我們要進他的居所，在他腳凳前下拜。」耶和華啊，求你興起，與你有能力的約櫃同入安歇之所！

看哪，我辛苦地為耶和華的殿預備了十萬他連得金子，一百萬他連得銀子，銅和鐵多得無法可秤；我也預備了木頭、石頭，你還可以增添。

以色列眾人聚集到希伯崙見大衛，說：「看哪，我們是你的骨肉。從前掃羅作王的時候，率領以色列人出入的是你；耶和華－你的上帝也曾對你說：『你必牧養我的百姓以色列，你必作我百姓以色列的君王。』」於是以色列的眾長老都來到希伯崙見王。大衛在希伯崙，在耶和華面前與他們立約，他們就膏大衛作以色列的王，正如耶和華藉撒母耳所說的話。

有人告訴雅各說：「看哪，你的兒子約瑟到你這裏來了。」以色列就勉強在床上坐起來。
