Then I asked the angel,“ What are these two olive trees on the right and the left of the lampstand?”Again I asked him,“ What are these two olive branches beside the two gold pipes that pour out golden oil?”He replied,“ Do you not know what these are?”“ No, my lord,” I said.So he said,“ These are the two who are anointed to serve the Lord of all the earth.” (niv)

The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and of the seven golden lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.“ To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands. He made ten gold lampstands according to the specifications for them and placed them in the temple, five on the south side and five on the north. (niv)

I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands,and among the lampstands was someone like a son of man, dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. (niv)

He asked me,“ What do you see?” I answered,“ I see a solid gold lampstand with a bowl at the top and seven lamps on it, with seven channels to the lamps.Also there are two olive trees by it, one on the right of the bowl and the other on its left.” (niv)
