「要用純金造一個燈臺，燈臺的燈座、燈柱、油杯、花瓣和花苞要用一塊純金打造。燈臺的兩邊要各伸出三個分枝，共六個分枝。每個分枝要伸出三個杏花形狀、有花瓣和花苞的杯，六個分枝都是這樣。燈臺上要有四個杏花形狀、有花瓣和花苞的杯。燈臺上每一對分枝的相連處要有花苞，三對都是這樣。整座燈臺，包括一切裝飾，都要用一塊純金打造。此外，要為燈臺造七個燈盞，放在燈臺上面，照亮前面的地方。燈臺用的燈剪和燈花盤都要用純金造。造整座燈臺和燈臺的器具要用三十四公斤純金。

門廊的柱冠高一點八米，形狀像百合花。

我又問天使：「燈臺左右的兩棵橄欖樹是什麼意思？」然後我又問道：「流出橄欖油的兩個金管旁邊的兩根橄欖枝是什麼意思？」他說：「你不知道嗎？」我說：「主啊，我不知道。」他說：「這是侍立在天下之主旁邊的兩位受膏者。」

你所看見在我右手中的七顆星和七個金燈臺的奧祕是，七顆星代表七間教會的天使，七個燈臺代表七間教會。「你要寫信告訴以弗所教會的天使，那位右手拿著七顆星、往來於七個金燈臺中间的主說，

他照著所定的式樣，造了十個金燈臺放在殿裡，五個在右邊，五個在左邊；

我轉身看究竟是誰在對我說話，我看見七個金燈臺，有一位好像人子耶穌的站在這些燈臺中間。祂長袍垂腳，金帶圍胸，

他問我：「你看見了什麼？」我說：「我看見一個純金的燈臺，上面有一個油碗，燈臺上有七盞燈，每盞燈有七個燈芯。燈臺旁邊有兩棵橄欖樹，左右各一棵。」
