The side rooms were on three levels, one above another, thirty on each level. There were ledges all around the wall of the temple to serve as supports for the side rooms, so that the supports were not inserted into the wall of the temple.The side rooms all around the temple were wider at each successive level. The structure surrounding the temple was built in ascending stages, so that the rooms widened as one went upward. A stairway went up from the lowest floor to the top floor through the middle floor.I saw that the temple had a raised base all around it, forming the foundation of the side rooms. It was the length of the rod, six long cubits.The outer wall of the side rooms was five cubits thick. The open area between the side rooms of the templeand the priests’ rooms was twenty cubits wide all around the temple.There were entrances to the side rooms from the open area, one on the north and another on the south; and the base adjoining the open area was five cubits wide all around. Hebrews 9:2-8
A tabernacle was set up. In its first room were the lampstand and the table with its consecrated bread; this was called the Holy Place.Behind the second curtain was a room called the Most Holy Place,which had the golden altar of incense and the gold-covered ark of the covenant. This ark contained the gold jar of manna, Aaron’s staff that had budded, and the stone tablets of the covenant.Above the ark were the cherubim of the Glory, overshadowing the atonement cover. But we cannot discuss these things in detail now.When everything had been arranged like this, the priests entered regularly into the outer room to carry on their ministry.But only the high priest entered the inner room, and that only once a year, and never without blood, which he offered for himself and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance.The Holy Spirit was showing by this that the way into the Most Holy Place had not yet been disclosed as long as the first tabernacle was still functioning. He partitioned off twenty cubits at the rear of the temple with cedar boards from floor to ceiling to form within the temple an inner sanctuary, the Most Holy Place.The main hall in front of this room was forty cubits long.The inside of the temple was cedar, carved with gourds and open flowers. Everything was cedar; no stone was to be seen.He prepared the inner sanctuary within the temple to set the ark of the covenant of the Lord there.The inner sanctuary was twenty cubits long, twenty wide and twenty high. The foundation Solomon laid for building the temple of God was sixty cubits long and twenty cubits wide( using the cubit of the old standard).The portico at the front of the temple was twenty cubits long across the width of the building and twenty cubits high. He overlaid the inside with pure gold.He paneled the main hall with juniper and covered it with fine gold and decorated it with palm tree and chain designs.He adorned the temple with precious stones. And the gold he used was gold of Parvaim.He overlaid the ceiling beams, doorframes, walls and doors of the temple with gold, and he carved cherubim on the walls.He built the Most Holy Place, its length corresponding to the width of the temple— twenty cubits long and twenty cubits wide. He overlaid the inside with six hundred talents of fine gold.The gold nails weighed fifty shekels. He also overlaid the upper parts with gold.For the Most Holy Place he made a pair of sculptured cherubim and overlaid them with gold. (niv)

They were in charge of the treasuries of the temple of the Lord.From the Amramites, the Izharites, the Hebronites and the Uzzielites:Shubael, a descendant of Gershom son of Moses, was the official in charge of the treasuries.His relatives through Eliezer: Rehabiah his son, Jeshaiah his son, Joram his son, Zikri his son and Shelomith his son.Shelomith and his relatives were in charge of all the treasuries for the things dedicated by King David, by the heads of families who were the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds, and by the other army commanders.Some of the plunder taken in battle they dedicated for the repair of the temple of the Lord.
