又要從以色列人的那一半中，就是從人、牛、驢、羊，各樣牲畜中，每五十取一，交給照管耶和華帳幕的利未人。」於是摩西和以利亞撒祭司遵照耶和華所吩咐摩西的做了。除了士兵所奪的財物以外，所擄來的有羊六十七萬五千隻，牛七萬二千頭，驢六萬一千匹；至於人，就是未曾與男人同房共寢的女子，總共三萬二千名。出去打仗之人的那份，就是他們所得的一半，共計羊三十三萬七千五百隻，其中歸耶和華為貢物的羊，六百七十五隻；牛三萬六千頭，其中歸耶和華為貢物的七十二頭；驢三萬零五百匹，其中歸耶和華為貢物的六十一匹；人一萬六千名，其中歸耶和華的三十二名。摩西把貢物，就是歸給耶和華的舉祭，交給以利亞撒祭司，是照耶和華所吩咐摩西的。以色列人所得的另一半，是摩西從打仗的人取來分給他們的。會眾的這一半有羊三十三萬七千五百隻，牛三萬六千頭，驢三萬零五百匹，人一萬六千名。無論是人或牲畜，摩西都每五十取一，交給照管耶和華帳幕的利未人，是照耶和華所吩咐摩西的。帶領眾軍隊的軍官，就是千夫長、百夫長，進到摩西那裏，對他說：「你的僕人已經計算屬下戰士的總數，一個也沒有少。如今我們把各人所得的金器，就是腳鏈子、手鐲、打印的戒指、耳環、項鏈，都送給耶和華為供物，好在耶和華面前為我們贖罪。」摩西和以利亞撒祭司就收了他們的金子，就是各樣的首飾。千夫長、百夫長所獻給耶和華為舉祭的金子共有一萬六千七百五十舍客勒。

大衛王把這些器皿，以及從各國奪來的金銀，就是從以東、摩押、亞捫人、非利士人、亞瑪力所奪來的，都分別為聖獻給耶和華。

我為我上帝的殿已經盡力，預備金子做金器，銀子做銀器，銅做銅器，鐵做鐵器，木做木器，還有紅瑪瑙、可鑲嵌的寶石、彩石、各樣的寶石和許多大理石。此外，因我愛慕我上帝的殿，在預備建造聖殿的一切材料之外，又將我自己積蓄的金銀獻給我上帝的殿，就是三千他連得俄斐金子、七千他連得純銀，用來貼殿的牆；金子做金器，銀子做銀器，並藉工匠的手做一切的工。今日有誰願意將自己獻給耶和華呢？」於是，眾族長和以色列各支派的領袖、千夫長、百夫長，以及監管王工作的官長，都樂意奉獻。他們為上帝殿的工程獻上五千他連得又一萬達利克金子，一萬他連得銀子，一萬八千他連得銅，十萬他連得鐵。凡有寶石的都送入耶和華殿的庫房，由革順人耶歇的手管理。因這些人全心樂意獻給耶和華，百姓就歡喜，大衛王也大大歡喜。

看哪，我辛苦地為耶和華的殿預備了十萬他連得金子，一百萬他連得銀子，銅和鐵多得無法可秤；我也預備了木頭、石頭，你還可以增添。
