從以色列人那半份之中、無論是由人口、由牛、由驢、由羊羣、由各樣牲口之中、你都要將他們所擁有的、每五十取一，交給守盡永恆主帳幕之職守的利未人。』於是摩西和祭司以利亞撒照永恆主所吩咐摩西的去行。所搶得的東西、就是打仗人劫奪到的掠物所剩下來的、有羊六十七萬五千隻，牛七萬二千隻，驢六萬一千匹，人口、未曾和男的同房共寢過的、共有三萬二千人。出去打仗的人的份、就是那半份、其數目共計羊三十三萬七千五百隻；從這些羊之中取為貢物奉給永恆主的、有六百七十五隻：牛三萬六千隻，取為貢物奉給永恆主的、有七十二隻：驢三萬零五百匹，取為貢物奉給永恆主的、有六十一匹：人口一萬六千，取為貢物奉給永恆主的、有三十二人。摩西把貢物、就是奉給永恆主的提獻物、交給祭司以利亞撒，都照永恆主所吩咐摩西的。以色列人所得的那半份、就是摩西從打仗的人取來分給他們的。（會眾的那半份、有羊三十三萬七千五百隻，牛三萬六千隻，驢三萬零五百匹，人口一萬六千）；摩西取了以色列人那半份、無論由人由牲口之中、他都將他們所擁有的每五十取一，交給守盡帳幕職守的利未人，照永恆主所吩咐摩西的。統領軍隊系統的官、就是千夫長百夫長、都走近前來見摩西，對摩西說：『你僕人已經登記我們手下戰士的總數，並不缺少一人。如今我們將奉給永恆主的供物、都帶了來，各人帶他所得的金器、腳鍊子、鐲子、列印戒指、耳環、手釧，好在永恆主面前為我們自己除罪。』摩西和祭司以利亞撒便從他們收了金子、就是各樣作法的飾物。各樣金器、他們所獻與永恆主的提獻物、從千夫長百夫長所收來的共有一萬六千七百五十舍客勒。

這些器皿大衛王也分別為聖獻與永恆主，連同他從列國所帶來的金銀，就是從以東、從摩押、從亞捫人、非利士人、亞瑪力人那裏所帶來的、都分別為聖、獻與永恆主。

我為我的上帝的殿已盡了我的力量豫備金子作金器，銀子作銀器，銅作銅器，鐵作鐵器，木頭作木器；還有水蒼玉、可鑲嵌的光彩石、雜色石、各樣寶石、白玉石、很多。不但如此，因我愛慕我的上帝的殿，我就在為聖殿作一切供備之外，又將我自己珍藏的金銀拿出來、作建造我的上帝之殿的用處：就是俄斐金三千擔、精鍊的銀子七千擔、可貼殿裏各房屋的牆；金子可作金器，銀子可作銀器，和由匠人的手可作的一切巧工。今日有誰甘心自願拱手奉獻與永恆主呢？』於是眾父系族長、以色列眾族派的首領、千夫長、百夫長、和監管王工的主任、全都甘心自願地奉獻。為了要作上帝之殿的使用、他們就拿出金子五千擔零一萬達利克，銀子一萬擔，銅一萬八千擔，鐵十萬擔。凡有寶石在身邊的都交入永恆主之殿的府庫，由革順人耶歇經手保管。眾民就因這些人甘心自願的奉獻而歡喜，因為他們都全心自願地奉獻與永恆主；大衛王也大大歡喜快樂。
