They divided them impartially by casting lots, for there were officials of the sanctuary and officials of God among the descendants of both Eleazar and Ithamar.

The priests were separated into their groups by casting lots. That was the fair way to do it. The priests were officials of the temple and officials of God. They came from the family lines of Eleazar and Ithamar.

便為他們作鬮；鬮拈中了馬提亞，馬提亞就算和那十一位使徒同列了。

守殿官和祭司長聽見了這些報告的話，心裏很為難，不知道事情要怎樣變化。

約西亞的大臣也自願將祭牲提獻給人民、給祭司和利未人；又有上帝之殿的總務希勒家、撒迦利亞、耶歇、也將羊羔二千六百隻、公牛三百隻、給了祭司做逾越節的祭牲。

使徒正對人民講話的時候、祭司長們和守殿官跟撒都該人忽然來了，

到了早晨，眾祭司長和民間的長老商議怎樣陷害耶穌、來治死他；

約書亞就在示羅永恆主面前給他們抓鬮；約書亞在那裏照分配辦法將地分給以色列人。

大家就彼此說：『來，我們來拈鬮，看這災禍臨到我們、是因誰的緣故。』於是他們就拈鬮，便拈出約拿來。

還有亞薩利雅、是上帝之殿的總管，希勒家的兒子，希勒家是米書蘭的兒子，米書蘭是撒督的兒子，撒督是米拉約的兒子，米拉約是亞希突的兒子。

還有上帝之殿的總管西萊雅；西萊雅是希勒家的兒子，希勒家是米書蘭的兒子，米書蘭是撒督的兒子，撒督是米拉約的兒子，米拉約是亞希突的兒子；

那時祭司長和民間的長老聚集在稱為該亞法的大祭司院子裏，

大祭司亞拿、和該亞法、約拿單、亞力山大、以及所有屬於大祭司家族的人、都在座。

抽的籤儘可以拋在人懷裏，定其事卻全是由於永恆主。
