David said,“ Of these, twenty- four thousand are to be in charge of the work of the temple of the Lord and six thousand are to be officials and judges.

“ Of these,” David said,“ twenty-four thousand are to be in charge of the work on the LORD’s temple, six thousand are to be officers and judges,

色哩子約耳為其長、西奴子猶大輔之、兼為邑宰。

命侍亞倫子孫之側、以服其役、在耶和華殿、供其役事、亦在院與室、滌諸聖物、竣上帝殿之工、理陳設之餅麵為禮物、及無酵之餅、或以鼎煎熬、或以釜烹煮、亦理權量法度、朝夕侍耶和華前、尊榮頌讚其名、安息日、月朔、節期、獻燔祭、常例宜遵、物數有定、奉事耶和華、永世勿替、司會幕、聖所、助其同宗亞倫子孫、供役事於耶和華殿。

米加玄孫、馬大尼曾孫、哈沙庇孫、巴尼子烏西、在耶路撒冷為利未族長、謳歌者亞薩之裔統理殿中之事。

利未族中亞希雅掌上帝殿中府庫、及所獻寶物。革順族拉但家之最著者耶葉、耶葉子西但、約耳、掌耶和華殿寶物。暗蘭、以斯哈、希伯崙、烏泄四族、亦有職事。摩西孫、革順子、示拔掌府庫。革順弟以列撒、以列撒耳孫、哩哈比玄孫、以賽亞曾孫、約蘭孫、色哩子示羅密。示羅密及其兄弟掌寶物、乃大闢王與族中之最著、及千夫長百夫長、武士長所獻者也。彼戰時所獲貨財、獻之以建耶和華殿。

如爾邑中有訟事、為流血、為爭競、為加害、爾所難鞫者、則必詣爾上帝耶和華特簡之室、見祭司利未人、或在位之刑官、請其諮諏、為爾聽訟、彼在耶和華特簡之室、指示其故、爾必遵言以行。

利未人立於上帝之殿、以供役事。

故當自慎、亦慎全群、聖神立爾為督者、牧上帝教會、彼以流血而贖之、

以斯哈族、基拿尼及其子、為民長士師、理以色列外事。希伯崙族、哈沙庇、及其同宗、一千七百、俱為豪傑、在約但西、以色列族中統理、或事耶和華、或從王事。希伯崙族、循其世系、首耶哩雅、大闢之四十年、在基列之雅設、核此族、得豪傑之士、二千七百人、俱族中最著者、大闢王使之統理、在流便伽得二支派、及馬拿西支派之半、或事上帝、或從王事。

維彼祭司、宜有智慧、既為萬有之主耶和華所遣、人當就彼、諮諏法度、

守器皿者數人、器之陳徹按其數、理聖所之器皿、麥粉、酒、油、乳香、芬芳之品、數人。惟祭司之徒、循調劑法、製芬芳之品。利未族、可喇家、沙龍長子馬得底、理鼎烹、其同宗、哥轄族、理陳設之餅、每安息日備之、
