使他们开口赞美。愿远近各方的人都得到平安！我要医治他们。这是耶和华说的。

但祂若保持缄默，谁能定祂有罪？祂若掩起脸来，谁能看得见祂？个人和国家都靠祂垂顾，

耶和华赐给我许多儿子，祂在我众子中拣选了所罗门，让他坐以色列的王位，治理耶和华的国。耶和华对我说，‘你儿子所罗门必建造我的殿宇和庭院，因为我拣选他做我的儿子，我也必做他的父亲。倘若他像今天一样继续坚守我的诫命和典章，我必使他的国度永远稳固。’

必有一个婴儿为我们诞生，有一个孩子要赐给我们，祂必统治我们。祂被称为奇妙的策士、全能的上帝、永存的父、和平的君。祂的国必长治久安。祂必坐在大卫的宝座上以公平和公义治国，使国家永固。万军之耶和华必热切地成就此事。

你寿终正寝、与祖先同眠之后，我必立你的后裔接替你的王位，使他江山稳固。他必为我的名建造圣殿，我必使他的王位坚立，直到永远。

基甸在那里为耶和华筑了一座坛，称之为“耶和华赐平安”。这坛如今仍在亚比以谢族的俄弗拉。

你离世归到祖先那里的时候，我必使你的一位后裔继承你的王位，使他的国坚立。

在他统治之下，愿义人兴旺，国富民强，如月长存。

我造光明，也造黑暗；赐平安，也降灾祸。这一切都是我耶和华的作为。
