I charge you before God who gives life to all things and Christ Jesus who made his good confession before Pontius Pilate,to obey this command without fault or failure until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ– whose appearing the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, will reveal at the right time.He alone possesses immortality and lives in unapproachable light, whom no human has ever seen or is able to see. To him be honor and eternal power! Amen.Command those who are rich in this world’s goods not to be haughty or to set their hope on riches, which are uncertain, but on God who richly provides us with all things for our enjoyment.

Then the LORD said to Moses,“ The day of your death is near. Summon Joshua and present yourselves in the tent of meeting so that I can commission him.” So Moses and Joshua presented themselves in the tent of meeting.

Then Jesus came up and said to them,“ All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

He laid his hands on him and commissioned him, just as the LORD commanded, by the authority of Moses.
