大卫说：“我儿子所罗门还年幼娇嫩，要为耶和华建造的殿宇必须高大辉煌，使名誉荣耀传遍万国；所以我要为殿预备材料。”于是，大卫在未死之先预备的材料甚多。

大卫说：“我儿子所罗门还年幼脆弱，要为耶和华建造的殿宇必须高大辉煌，使名声荣耀传遍万国，所以我要为殿预备。”于是，大卫在未死之前预备了许多材料。

大闢曰、我子所羅門、尚在弱齡、必為耶和華建殿、矞皇顯麗、萬國播揚、我必為之備。於是大闢存日、預備之物、不可悉數、

大衛曰、我子所羅門尚幼弱、為主所將建之殿、必高大莊嚴、使聲名傳揚萬國、我當為之預備、於是大衛未死之先、廣備材物、

David said,“ My son Solomon is young and inexperienced, and the house to be built for the Lord should be of great magnificence and fame and splendor in the sight of all the nations. Therefore I will make preparations for it.” So David made extensive preparations before his death.

David said,“ My son Solomon is young. He’s never done anything like this before. The house that will be built for the Lord should be very grand and wonderful. All the nations should consider it to be famous and beautiful. I’ll get things ready for it.” So David got many things ready before he died.

For David said,“ Solomon my son is young and inexperienced, and the house that is to be built for the Lord must be exceedingly magnificent, of fame and glory throughout all lands. I will therefore make preparation for it.” So David provided materials in great quantity before his death.

David said,“ My son Solomon is still young and inexperienced. And since the Temple to be built for the Lord must be a magnificent structure, famous and glorious throughout the world, I will begin making preparations for it now.” So David collected vast amounts of building materials before his death.

David said,“ My son Solomon is young and inexperienced, and the house that is to be built for the LORD must be exceedingly great and famous and glorious in all the lands. Therefore, I will make provision for it.” So David made lavish preparations for it before his death.

David said,“ My son Solomon is young and inexperienced, and the house that is to be built for the Lord shall be exceedingly magnificent, famous, and glorious throughout the lands. Therefore I now will make preparations for it.” So David made ample preparations before his death.

Now David said,“ Solomon my son is young and inexperienced, and the house to be built for the Lord must be exceedingly magnificent, famous and glorious throughout all countries. I will now make preparation for it.” So David made abundant preparations before his death.

And David said, Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be builded for Jehovah must be exceeding magnificent, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will therefore make preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death.

David said,“ My son Solomon is young and inexperienced, and the house that is to be built for the Lord must be exceedingly great and famous and glorious in all the lands. Therefore, I must make provision for it.” So David made lavish preparations for it before his death.

And David said, Solomon my son[ is] young and tender, and the house[ that is] to be builded for the LORD[ must be] exceeding magnifical, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will[ therefore] now make preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death.

David said,“ My son Solomon is just an inexperienced young man, and the temple to be built for the LORD must be especially magnificent so it will become famous and be considered splendid by all the nations. Therefore I will make preparations for its construction.” So David made extensive preparations before he died.

David said,“ Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be built for Yahweh must be exceedingly magnificent, of fame and of glory throughout all countries. I will therefore make preparation for it.” So David prepared abundantly before his death.

大衛王對全體會眾說：“我的兒子所羅門，是神所揀選的，現在還年幼識淺，而這工程非常浩大；因為這殿宇不是為人建造，而是為耶和華神建造的。

耶和華我的神啊，現在你使僕人接續我的父親大衛作王，但我還年輕，不知道應當怎樣處事。

很多年老的祭司、利未人和族長，曾經見過先前的殿，眼見這殿的根基再次奠立，就放聲大哭，但也有許多人高聲歡呼，

有人在談論聖殿，是用美麗的石頭和供物裝飾的。耶穌說：

有些無賴匪徒結集跟從他，欺負所羅門的兒子羅波安；那時羅波安還年幼，心裡驚怯，所以不能抵擋他們。

他們以美麗的飾物為誇耀，又用這些來鑄造可憎可厭的偶像，因此我要使它們成為污穢之物。

逾越節以前，耶穌知道自己離開這世界回到父那裡去的時候到了。他既然愛世上屬於自己的人，就愛他們到底。

我們那聖潔和榮美的殿，就是我們的列祖讚美你的所在，被火燒了。我們所喜愛的一切，都成了廢墟。

趁著我還在世上（“在世上”原文作“在這帳棚”）的時候，我認為應當提醒你們，使你們常常警醒，因為我知道我離世（“離世”原文作“離開這帳棚”）的時候快到了，正如我們的主耶穌基督清楚指示我的。我也要努力，使你們在我去世以後，還時常追念這些事。

萬軍之耶和華說：“這殿宇後來的榮耀，必大過先前的榮耀。”萬軍之耶和華說：“在這地方，我必賜下平安。”

趁著白晝，我們必須作那差我來者的工；黑夜一到，就沒有人能作工了。

這殿必成為廢墟（按照《馬索拉文本》，“成為廢墟”應作“甚高”；現參照《敘利亞譯本》翻譯），經過的人都必驚訝，取笑說：耶和華為甚麼向這地和這殿這樣作啊？

他必興旺，我必衰微。

對他們說：“我現今一百二十歲，不能再照常出入了；耶和華也曾對我說：你必不得過這約旦河。耶和華你的神要親自領你們過去，從你們面前消滅這些國的民，使你們得著他們的地，照著耶和華說過的，約書亞要親自領你們過去。耶和華對待他們，必好像從前對待他消滅的亞摩利人的兩個王西宏和噩，以及他們的國一樣。耶和華必把他們交給你們，你們照著我吩咐你們的一切命令對待他們。你們要堅強勇敢；不要害怕，也不要因他們畏懼，因為耶和華你的神與你同去；他決不撇下你，也不離棄你。”摩西把約書亞召了來，在以色列眾人面前對他說：“你要堅強勇敢，因為你要和這人民一同進入耶和華向他們的列祖起誓，應許要賜給他們的地；你也要使他們得著那地為業。

‘這人撒種，那人收割’，這話是真的。我派你們去收割你們所沒有勞苦的；別人勞苦，你們卻享受他們勞苦的成果。”

這殿雖然高大，但將來經過的人，都必驚訝，說：‘耶和華為甚麼這樣對待這地和這殿呢？’

我要建造的殿宇必須宏偉，因為我們的神偉大，超過眾神。

‘你們中間剩下的人，有誰見過這殿宇從前的榮耀呢？現在你們又看它怎樣？豈不是視如無物一樣嗎？’”

凡是你手可作的，都當盡力去作；因為在你所要去的陰間裡，既沒有工作，又沒有籌謀；沒有知識，也沒有智慧。
