大卫说：“我儿子所罗门还年幼娇嫩，要为耶和华建造的殿宇必须高大辉煌，使名誉荣耀传遍万国；所以我要为殿预备材料。”于是，大卫在未死之先预备的材料甚多。

大卫说：“我儿子所罗门还年幼脆弱，要为耶和华建造的殿宇必须高大辉煌，使名声荣耀传遍万国，所以我要为殿预备。”于是，大卫在未死之前预备了许多材料。

大衛曰、我子所羅門尚幼弱、為主所將建之殿、必高大莊嚴、使聲名傳揚萬國、我當為之預備、於是大衛未死之先、廣備材物、

David said,“ My son Solomon is young and inexperienced, and the house to be built for the Lord should be of great magnificence and fame and splendor in the sight of all the nations. Therefore I will make preparations for it.” So David made extensive preparations before his death.

David said,“ My son Solomon is young. He’s never done anything like this before. The house that will be built for the Lord should be very grand and wonderful. All the nations should consider it to be famous and beautiful. I’ll get things ready for it.” So David got many things ready before he died.

For David said,“ Solomon my son is young and inexperienced, and the house that is to be built for the Lord must be exceedingly magnificent, of fame and glory throughout all lands. I will therefore make preparation for it.” So David provided materials in great quantity before his death.

David said,“ My son Solomon is still young and inexperienced. And since the Temple to be built for the Lord must be a magnificent structure, famous and glorious throughout the world, I will begin making preparations for it now.” So David collected vast amounts of building materials before his death.

David said,“ My son Solomon is young and inexperienced, and the house that is to be built for the LORD must be exceedingly great and famous and glorious in all the lands. Therefore, I will make provision for it.” So David made lavish preparations for it before his death.

David said,“ My son Solomon is young and inexperienced, and the house that is to be built for the Lord shall be exceedingly magnificent, famous, and glorious throughout the lands. Therefore I now will make preparations for it.” So David made ample preparations before his death.

Now David said,“ Solomon my son is young and inexperienced, and the house to be built for the Lord must be exceedingly magnificent, famous and glorious throughout all countries. I will now make preparation for it.” So David made abundant preparations before his death.

And David said, Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be builded for Jehovah must be exceeding magnificent, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will therefore make preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death.

David said,“ My son Solomon is young and inexperienced, and the house that is to be built for the Lord must be exceedingly great and famous and glorious in all the lands. Therefore, I must make provision for it.” So David made lavish preparations for it before his death.

And David said, Solomon my son[ is] young and tender, and the house[ that is] to be builded for the LORD[ must be] exceeding magnifical, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will[ therefore] now make preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death.

David said,“ My son Solomon is just an inexperienced young man, and the temple to be built for the LORD must be especially magnificent so it will become famous and be considered splendid by all the nations. Therefore I will make preparations for its construction.” So David made extensive preparations before he died.

David said,“ Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be built for Yahweh must be exceedingly magnificent, of fame and of glory throughout all countries. I will therefore make preparation for it.” So David prepared abundantly before his death.

大卫王对全体会众说：“我的儿子所罗门，是神所拣选的，现在还年幼识浅，而这工程非常浩大；因为这殿宇不是为人建造，而是为耶和华神建造的。

耶和华我的神啊，现在你使仆人接续我的父亲大卫作王，但我还年轻，不知道应当怎样处事。

很多年老的祭司、利未人和族长，曾经见过先前的殿，眼见这殿的根基再次奠立，就放声大哭，但也有许多人高声欢呼，

有人在谈论圣殿，是用美丽的石头和供物装饰的。耶稣说：

有些无赖匪徒结集跟从他，欺负所罗门的儿子罗波安；那时罗波安还年幼，心里惊怯，所以不能抵挡他们。

他们以美丽的饰物为夸耀，又用这些来铸造可憎可厌的偶像，因此我要使它们成为污秽之物。

逾越节以前，耶稣知道自己离开这世界回到父那里去的时候到了。他既然爱世上属于自己的人，就爱他们到底。

我们那圣洁和荣美的殿，就是我们的列祖赞美你的所在，被火烧了。我们所喜爱的一切，都成了废墟。

趁着我还在世上（“在世上”原文作“在这帐棚”）的时候，我认为应当提醒你们，使你们常常警醒，因为我知道我离世（“离世”原文作“离开这帐棚”）的时候快到了，正如我们的主耶稣基督清楚指示我的。我也要努力，使你们在我去世以后，还时常追念这些事。

万军之耶和华说：“这殿宇后来的荣耀，必大过先前的荣耀。”万军之耶和华说：“在这地方，我必赐下平安。”

趁着白昼，我们必须作那差我来者的工；黑夜一到，就没有人能作工了。

这殿必成为废墟（按照《马索拉文本》，“成为废墟”应作“甚高”；现参照《叙利亚译本》翻译），经过的人都必惊讶，取笑说：耶和华为什么向这地和这殿这样作啊？

他必兴旺，我必衰微。

对他们说：“我现今一百二十岁，不能再照常出入了；耶和华也曾对我说：你必不得过这约旦河。耶和华你的神要亲自领你们过去，从你们面前消灭这些国的民，使你们得着他们的地，照着耶和华说过的，约书亚要亲自领你们过去。耶和华对待他们，必好像从前对待他消灭的亚摩利人的两个王西宏和噩，以及他们的国一样。耶和华必把他们交给你们，你们照着我吩咐你们的一切命令对待他们。你们要坚强勇敢；不要害怕，也不要因他们畏惧，因为耶和华你的神与你同去；他决不撇下你，也不离弃你。”摩西把约书亚召了来，在以色列众人面前对他说：“你要坚强勇敢，因为你要和这人民一同进入耶和华向他们的列祖起誓，应许要赐给他们的地；你也要使他们得着那地为业。

‘这人撒种，那人收割’，这话是真的。我派你们去收割你们所没有劳苦的；别人劳苦，你们却享受他们劳苦的成果。”

这殿虽然高大，但将来经过的人，都必惊讶，说：‘耶和华为什么这样对待这地和这殿呢？’

我要建造的殿宇必须宏伟，因为我们的神伟大，超过众神。

‘你们中间剩下的人，有谁见过这殿宇从前的荣耀呢？现在你们又看它怎样？岂不是视如无物一样吗？’”

凡是你手可作的，都当尽力去作；因为在你所要去的阴间里，既没有工作，又没有筹谋；没有知识，也没有智慧。
