“ The Lord your God is with you,” he declared.“ He has given you peace with the surrounding nations. He has handed them over to me, and they are now subject to the Lord and his people.

“耶和华你们的神不是与你们同在吗？不是叫你们四围都平安吗？因他已将这地的居民交在我手中，这地就在耶和华与他百姓面前制伏了。

现在你们要立定心意，寻求耶和华你们的神；你们当起来，建造耶和华神的圣所，好把耶和华的约柜和神的神圣器皿，都搬进为耶和华的名所建造的殿宇中。”

主爾之天主祐爾、賜爾四周平康、以斯地之居民付我手、而使斯地歸主與主之民、

He said to them,“ Is not the Lord your God with you? And has he not granted you rest on every side? For he has given the inhabitants of the land into my hands, and the land is subject to the Lord and to his people.

He said to them,“ The Lord your God is with you. He’s given you peace and rest on every side. He’s handed over to me the people who are living in the land. The land has been brought under the control of the Lord and his people.

“ Is not the Lord your God with you? And has he not given you peace on every side? For he has delivered the inhabitants of the land into my hand, and the land is subdued before the Lord and his people.

“ The LORD your God is with you, isn’t he? And hasn’t he given you rest on every side? For he has handed the land’s inhabitants over to me, and the land has been subdued before the LORD and his people.

“ Is the Lord your God not with you? And has He not given you rest on every side? For He has handed over to me the inhabitants of the land, and the land is subdued before the Lord and before His people.

“ Is not the Lord your God with you? And has He not given you rest on every side? For He has given the inhabitants of the land into my hand, and the land is subdued before the Lord and before His people.

Is not Jehovah your God with you? and hath he not given you rest on every side? for he hath delivered the inhabitants of the land into my hand; and the land is subdued before Jehovah, and before his people.

“ The Lord your God is with you, isn’t He? And hasn’t He given you rest on every side? For He has handed the land’s inhabitants over to me, and the land has been subdued before the Lord and His people.

[ Is] not the LORD your God with you? and hath he[ not] given you rest on every side? for he hath given the inhabitants of the land into mine hand; and the land is subdued before the LORD, and before his people.

He told them,“ The LORD your God is with you! He has made you secure on every side, for he handed over to me the inhabitants of the region and the region is subdued before the LORD and his people.

“ Isn’t Yahweh your God with you? Hasn’t he given you rest on every side? For he has delivered the inhabitants of the land into my hand; and the land is subdued before Yahweh, and before his people.

For David said,“ The Lord, the God of Israel, has given us peace, and he will always live in Jerusalem.

But you will have a son who will be a man of peace. I will give him peace with his enemies in all the surrounding lands. His name will be Solomon, and I will give peace and quiet to Israel during his reign.

When King David was settled in his palace and the Lord had given him rest from all the surrounding enemies,

The years passed, and the Lord had given the people of Israel rest from all their enemies. Joshua, who was now very old,

And now the Lord your God has given the other tribes rest, as he promised them. So go back home to the land that Moses, the servant of the Lord, gave you as your possession on the east side of the Jordan River.

But you will soon cross the Jordan River and live in the land the Lord your God is giving you. When he gives you rest from all your enemies and you’re living safely in the land,you must bring everything I command you— your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes, your sacred offerings, and your offerings to fulfill a vow— to the designated place of worship, the place the Lord your God chooses for his name to be honored.

O God, we have heard it with our own ears— our ancestors have told us of all you did in their day, in days long ago:You drove out the pagan nations by your power and gave all the land to our ancestors. You crushed their enemies and set our ancestors free.They did not conquer the land with their swords; it was not their own strong arm that gave them victory. It was your right hand and strong arm and the blinding light from your face that helped them, for you loved them.You are my King and my God. You command victories for Israel.Only by your power can we push back our enemies; only in your name can we trample our foes.

So David asked the Lord,“ Should I go out to fight the Philistines? Will you hand them over to me?” The Lord replied to David,“ Yes, go ahead. I will certainly hand them over to you.”So David went to Baal perazim and defeated the Philistines there.“ The Lord did it!” David exclaimed.“ He burst through my enemies like a raging flood!” So he named that place Baal perazim( which means“ the Lord who bursts through”).

What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?

Joshua conquered all these kings and their land in a single campaign, for the Lord, the God of Israel, was fighting for his people.

Please forgive me if I have offended you in any way. The Lord will surely reward you with a lasting dynasty, for you are fighting the Lord’s battles. And you have not done wrong throughout your entire life.

The church then had peace throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria, and it became stronger as the believers lived in the fear of the Lord. And with the encouragement of the Holy Spirit, it also grew in numbers.

The angel of the Lord appeared to him and said,“ Mighty hero, the Lord is with you!”“ Sir,” Gideon replied,“ if the Lord is with us, why has all this happened to us? And where are all the miracles our ancestors told us about? Didn’t they say,‘ The Lord brought us up out of Egypt’? But now the Lord has abandoned us and handed us over to the Midianites.”Then the Lord turned to him and said,“ Go with the strength you have, and rescue Israel from the Midianites. I am sending you!”

For the Lord your God is going with you! He will fight for you against your enemies, and he will give you victory!’
