“ The Lord your God is with you, isn’t He? And hasn’t He given you rest on every side? For He has handed the land’s inhabitants over to me, and the land has been subdued before the Lord and His people.

现在你们要立定心意，寻求耶和华你们的神；你们当起来，建造耶和华神的圣所，好把耶和华的约柜和神的神圣器皿，都搬进为耶和华的名所建造的殿宇中。”

He said to them,“ Is not the Lord your God with you? And has he not granted you rest on every side? For he has given the inhabitants of the land into my hands, and the land is subject to the Lord and to his people.

He said to them,“ The Lord your God is with you. He’s given you peace and rest on every side. He’s handed over to me the people who are living in the land. The land has been brought under the control of the Lord and his people.

“ Is not the Lord your God with you? And has he not given you peace on every side? For he has delivered the inhabitants of the land into my hand, and the land is subdued before the Lord and his people.

“ The Lord your God is with you,” he declared.“ He has given you peace with the surrounding nations. He has handed them over to me, and they are now subject to the Lord and his people.

“ The LORD your God is with you, isn’t he? And hasn’t he given you rest on every side? For he has handed the land’s inhabitants over to me, and the land has been subdued before the LORD and his people.

“ Is the Lord your God not with you? And has He not given you rest on every side? For He has handed over to me the inhabitants of the land, and the land is subdued before the Lord and before His people.

“ Is not the Lord your God with you? And has He not given you rest on every side? For He has given the inhabitants of the land into my hand, and the land is subdued before the Lord and before His people.

Is not Jehovah your God with you? and hath he not given you rest on every side? for he hath delivered the inhabitants of the land into my hand; and the land is subdued before Jehovah, and before his people.

[ Is] not the LORD your God with you? and hath he[ not] given you rest on every side? for he hath given the inhabitants of the land into mine hand; and the land is subdued before the LORD, and before his people.

He told them,“ The LORD your God is with you! He has made you secure on every side, for he handed over to me the inhabitants of the region and the region is subdued before the LORD and his people.

“ Isn’t Yahweh your God with you? Hasn’t he given you rest on every side? For he has delivered the inhabitants of the land into my hand; and the land is subdued before Yahweh, and before his people.

For David said,“ The Lord God of Israel has given rest to His people, and He has come to stay in Jerusalem forever.

But a son will be born to you; he will be a man of rest. I will give him rest from all his surrounding enemies, for his name will be Solomon, and I will give peace and quiet to Israel during his reign.

When the king had settled into his palace and the Lord had given him rest on every side from all his enemies,

A long time after the Lord had given Israel rest from all the enemies around them, Joshua was old, getting on in years.

Now that He has given your brothers rest, just as He promised them, return to your homes in your own land that Moses the Lord’s servant gave you across the Jordan.

When you cross the Jordan and live in the land the Lord your God is giving you to inherit, and He gives you rest from all the enemies around you and you live in security,then Yahweh your God will choose the place to have His name dwell. Bring there everything I command you: your burnt offerings, sacrifices, offerings of the tenth, personal contributions, and all your choice offerings you vow to the Lord.

God, we have heard with our ears— our ancestors have told us— the work You accomplished in their days, in days long ago:to plant them, You drove out the nations with Your hand; to settle them, You crushed the peoples.For they did not take the land by their sword— their arm did not bring them victory— but by Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your face, for You were pleased with them.You are my King, my God, who ordains victories for Jacob.Through You we drive back our foes; through Your name we trample our enemies.

Then David inquired of the Lord:“ Should I go to war against the Philistines? Will you hand them over to me?” The Lord replied to David,“ Go, for I will certainly hand the Philistines over to you.”So David went to Baal-perazim and defeated them there and said,“ Like a bursting flood, the Lord has burst out against my enemies before me.” Therefore, he named that place the Lord Bursts Out.

What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?

Joshua captured all these kings and their land in one campaign, because the Lord, the God of Israel, fought for Israel.

Please forgive your servant’s offense, for the Lord is certain to make a lasting dynasty for my lord because he fights the Lord’s battles. Throughout your life, may evil not be found in you.

So the church throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace, being built up and walking in the fear of the Lord and in the encouragement of the Holy Spirit, and it increased in numbers.

Then the Angel of the Lord appeared to him and said:“ The Lord is with you, mighty warrior.”Gideon said to Him,“ Please Sir, if the Lord is with us, why has all this happened? And where are all His wonders that our fathers told us about? They said,‘ Hasn’t the Lord brought us out of Egypt?’ But now the Lord has abandoned us and handed us over to Midian.”The Lord turned to him and said,“ Go in the strength you have and deliver Israel from the power of Midian. Am I not sending you?”

For the Lord your God is the One who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.’
