大卫又对他儿子所罗门说：“你当刚强壮胆去做！不要惧怕，也不要惊惶，因为耶和华上帝，我的上帝与你同在。他必不撇下你，也不丢弃你，直到耶和华殿的工作都完毕。

你当刚强壮胆，因为你必使这百姓承受那地为业，就是我向他们列祖起誓要给他们的地。只要刚强，大大壮胆，谨守遵行我仆人摩西所吩咐你的一切律法，不可偏离左右，使你无论往哪里去，都可以顺利。这律法书不可离开你的口，总要昼夜思想，好使你谨守遵行这书上所写的一切话。如此，你的道路就可以亨通，凡事顺利。我岂没有吩咐你吗？你当刚强壮胆，不要惧怕，也不要惊惶，因为你无论往哪里去，耶和华你的上帝必与你同在。”

他若恒久遵行我的诫命典章如今日一样，我就必坚定他的国，直到永远。’

最后，你们要靠着主，依赖他的大能大力作刚强的人。

经上记着：“要爱邻如己”，你们若切实守这至尊的律法，你们就做得很好。

你们各人的重担要互相担当，这样就会成全基督的律法。

遵守耶和华—你上帝所吩咐的，照着摩西律法上所写的行耶和华的道，谨守他的律例、诫命、典章、法度，好让你无论做什么，不拘往何处去，尽都亨通。

无论什么人违背你的命令，不听从你所吩咐他的一切话，就必处死。你只要刚强壮胆！”

清晨，众人早起往提哥亚的旷野去。出去的时候，约沙法站着说：“犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民哪，要听我说：信靠耶和华—你们的上帝就必站立得稳；信赖他的先知就必亨通。”

现在你当谨慎，因耶和华拣选你建造殿宇作为圣所。你当刚强去做。”

你们要警醒，在信仰上要站稳，要勇敢，要刚强。

他废了扫罗之后，就兴起大卫作他们的王，又为他作见证说：‘我寻得耶西的儿子大卫，他是合我心意的人，他要遵行我一切的旨意。’

耶稣回答他：“暂且这样做吧，因为我们理当这样履行全部的义。”于是约翰就依了他。

你们当刚强壮胆，不要害怕，也不要畏惧他们，因为耶和华—你的上帝必与你同去；他必不撇下你，也不丢弃你。”摩西召了约书亚来，在以色列众人眼前对他说：“你当刚强壮胆！因为你要和这百姓一同进入耶和华向他们列祖起誓要给他们的地，你也要使他们承受那地为业。耶和华必在你前面行，他必亲自与你同在，必不撇下你，也不丢弃你。你不要惧怕，也不要惊惶。”

我看重你的一切命令，就不致羞愧。

耶和华如此说：你们要施行公平和公义，拯救被抢夺的脱离欺压者的手，不可亏负寄居的和孤儿寡妇，不可用残暴对待他们，也不可在这地方流无辜人的血。你们若切实遵行这话，就必有坐大卫宝座的君王和他的臣仆百姓，或坐车或骑马，从这王宫的各门进入。

我儿啊，你要在基督耶稣的恩典上刚强起来。
