Then David said,“ This is the house of the Lord God, and this is the altar of burnt offering for Israel.”

大卫吩咐人召集住在以色列地的外族人，又派石匠开凿石头，要建造神的殿。

大衛說：「這就是耶和華神的殿，為以色列人獻燔祭的壇。」

大衛說：「這是耶和華上帝的殿，這是以色列獻燔祭的壇。」

大衛說：「這是耶和華神的殿，這是以色列獻燔祭的壇。」

大衛說：「耶和華上帝的殿和以色列人獻燔祭的壇要在這裡。」

大衛吩咐人召集住在以色列地的外族人，又派石匠開鑿石頭，要建造神的殿。

大衛吩咐了人招聚以色列地的寄居者，又派立了石匠鑿石頭、砍削好好，要建造上帝的殿。

大衛曰、此乃耶和華上帝之室、以色列燔祭之壇、○

大闢曰、耶和華上帝之殿、以色列族燔祭之壇、宜建於此。

大衛曰、此主天主之殿、此以色列人獻火焚祭之祭臺、或作主天主之殿以色列人獻火焚祭之祭臺俱當在此○

Then David said,“ The house of the Lord God is to be here, and also the altar of burnt offering for Israel.”

David announced,“ The house of the Lord God will be built here. Israel’s altar for burnt offerings will also be here.”

Then David said,“ Here shall be the house of the Lord God and here the altar of burnt offering for Israel.”

Then David said,“ This will be the location for the Temple of the Lord God and the place of the altar for Israel’s burnt offerings!”

Then David said,“ This is the house of the LORD God, and this is the altar of burnt offering for Israel.”

Then David said,“ This is the house of the Lord God, and this is the altar of burnt offering for Israel.”

Then David said, This is the house of Jehovah God, and this is the altar of burnt- offering for Israel.

Then David said,“ This is the house of the Lord God, and this is the altar of burnt offering for Israel.”

Then David said, This[ is] the house of the LORD God, and this[ is] the altar of the burnt offering for Israel.

David then said,“ This is the place where the temple of the LORD God will be, along with the altar for burnt sacrifices for Israel.”

Then David said,“ This is the house of Yahweh God, and this is the altar of burnt offering for Israel.”

Now Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where the Lord had appeared to his father David, at the place that David had prepared on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.

Therefore, the angel of the Lord commanded Gad to say to David that David should go and erect an altar to the Lord on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.So David went up at the word of Gad, which he had spoken in the name of the Lord.Now Ornan turned and saw the angel; and his four sons who were with him hid themselves, but Ornan continued threshing wheat.So David came to Ornan, and Ornan looked and saw David. And he went out from the threshing floor, and bowed before David with his face to the ground.Then David said to Ornan,“ Grant me the place of this threshing floor, that I may build an altar on it to the Lord. You shall grant it to me at the full price, that the plague may be withdrawn from the people.”But Ornan said to David,“ Take it to yourself, and let my lord the king do what is good in his eyes. Look, I also give you the oxen for burnt offerings, the threshing implements for wood, and the wheat for the grain offering; I give it all.”Then King David said to Ornan,“ No, but I will surely buy it for the full price, for I will not take what is yours for the Lord, nor offer burnt offerings with that which costs me nothing.”So David gave Ornan six hundred shekels of gold by weight for the place.And David built there an altar to the Lord, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, and called on the Lord; and He answered him from heaven by fire on the altar of burnt offering.So the Lord commanded the angel, and he returned his sword to its sheath.At that time, when David saw that the Lord had answered him on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite, he sacrificed there.

And he was afraid and said,“ How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!”

But if you say to me,‘ We trust in the Lord our God,’ is it not He whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah has taken away, and said to Judah and Jerusalem,‘ You shall worship before this altar in Jerusalem’?”’

For the Lord has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His dwelling place:“ This is My resting place forever; Here I will dwell, for I have desired it.

Has not the same Hezekiah taken away His high places and His altars, and commanded Judah and Jerusalem, saying,“ You shall worship before one altar and burn incense on it”?

So that He forsook the tabernacle of Shiloh, The tent He had placed among men,

And Gad came that day to David and said to him,“ Go up, erect an altar to the Lord on the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite.”

‘ since the day that I brought My people out of the land of Egypt, I have chosen no city from any tribe of Israel in which to build a house, that My name might be there, nor did I choose any man to be a ruler over My people Israel.Yet I have chosen Jerusalem, that My name may be there, and I have chosen David to be over My people Israel.’

Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where one ought to worship.”Jesus said to her,“ Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father.You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews.

“ But you shall seek the place where the Lord your God chooses, out of all your tribes, to put His name for His dwelling place; and there you shall go.There you shall take your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes, the heave offerings of your hand, your vowed offerings, your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks.And there you shall eat before the Lord your God, and you shall rejoice in all to which you have put your hand, you and your households, in which the Lord your God has blessed you.

Moreover He rejected the tent of Joseph, And did not choose the tribe of Ephraim,But chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion which He loved.And He built His sanctuary like the heights, Like the earth which He has established forever.

then there will be the place where the Lord your God chooses to make His name abide. There you shall bring all that I command you: your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes, the heave offerings of your hand, and all your choice offerings which you vow to the Lord.
