Finally, they went south to Judah as far as Beersheba.Having gone through the entire land for nine months and twenty days, they returned to Jerusalem.

But Peter and the apostles replied,“ We must obey God rather than any human authority.

His command is backed by great power. No one can resist or question it.

But even if he doesn’t, we want to make it clear to you, Your Majesty, that we will never serve your gods or worship the gold statue you have set up.”
