祭司撒督及同宗眾祭司、居於基遍崇坵、耶和華幕前。

率眾至基遍崇坵、在彼有上帝會幕、乃耶和華僕摩西在野所作、

所羅門自基遍崇坵、會幕之所、至耶路撒冷、治以色列。

基遍有崇邱、更播聲聞、王往彼獻牲畜一千、以為燔祭。至夕、耶和華夢中顯現於所羅門曰、爾有所求、我無弗予。所羅門曰、昔我父大闢、真實無妄、行善為義於爾前、爾施厚恩、使子繼其位、今日之事為證。我之上帝耶和華以臣僕為王、代父大闢、我尚幼沖、不知治民、爾所簡之民甚眾、不可勝數、爾之臣僕居於其中、孰能聽訟於斯眾之間乎、故祈爾使僕聰慧、可辨是非、為民折中。耶和華聞所羅門所祈、而悅其言、謂之曰、爾不求遐齡、巨富、勝敵、乃求聰慧、可以聽訟、我則許爾所求、以智慧之心錫汝、爾之前未有若是、爾之後亦不能若是。爾所未求者、我亦賜爾、即貨財尊榮、爾之畢生、列王之中、無可比儗。如爾行由我道、守我禁令禮儀、循爾父之所為、我亦將錫爾遐齡。所羅門既寤、知涉於夢寐、遂至耶路撒冷、立耶和華法匱前、獻燔祭酬恩祭、賜宴與僕從、

耶和華諭摩西曰、正月朔、宜建會幕、以法匱置其中、垂簾於匱前、舁几入幕、陳所當陳、舁燈臺入、而燃其燈、以焚香之金壇置於法匱前、施幬為幕門、置祭壇於會幕門前、置盤於會幕祭壇間、盛水其中。四周立場帷、施幬於門、以香膏膏幕、及幕內所有、使諸器為聖、膏祭壇與諸器、使壇為至聖。膏盤與其座、使為聖。攜亞倫及其子至會幕門前、濯以水、以聖衣衣亞倫、膏之以膏、使其成聖、可為祭司、以奉事我。又攜其子、以衣衣之。膏之如父、使為祭司、以奉事我、緣受其膏、亞倫子孫、必永為祭司、歷世勿替。○摩西遵耶和華命而行、出埃及二年、正月朔、摩西建幕、置座、搆板、施楗、立柱、張幕、施幬於其上、循耶和華命。以律法藏於匱、貫杠於旁、置施恩之所於上、舁匱入幕、垂簾於前、以蔽法匱、循耶和華命。幕中簾前北向設几、陳餅於耶和華前、循其所命。南向置燈臺、與几相對、燃燈於耶和華前、遵其所命。置金壇於幕內、簾前、焚馨香於上、遵耶和華命。施幬於幕門、置祭壇於會幕門外、可燔牲獻祭、遵耶和華命。置盤於會幕、祭壇間、盛水其中。摩西亞倫、及其子、盥手濯足、入會幕、近祭壇時、洗濯其身、悉遵耶和華所諭摩西之命。會幕祭壇四周施場帷、垂幬於門、於是摩西竣厥工。○有雲覆會幕、耶和華之榮光盈其室、因雲覆之、耶和華之榮光盈之、故摩西不能進會幕、雲離會幕時、以色列族遄征、雲不移、民不行、晝則耶和華之雲籠罩幕上、及夜雲狀若火、以色列族遄征時、悉目擊焉。
