David answered Gad,“ I’m in anguish. Please, let me fall into the Lord’s hands because His mercies are very great, but don’t let me fall into human hands.”

大卫对迦得说：“我甚为难。我愿落在耶和华的手里，因为他有丰盛的怜悯；我不愿落在人的手里。”

大卫对迦得说：“我很为难。我宁愿落在耶和华的手里，因为他有丰盛的怜悯；我不愿落在人的手里。”

大卫对迦得说：“我很为难。我宁愿落在耶和华的手里，因为他有丰盛的怜悯；我不愿落在人的手里。”

大卫说：“我实在为难！不过我宁愿落在耶和华的手中，也不愿落在人的手中，因为耶和华有无限的怜悯。”

大卫对迦得说：“我十分作难，我情愿落在耶和华的手里，因为他有极丰盛的怜悯，我不愿落在人的手里。”

大衛對迦得說：「我甚為難。我願落在耶和華的手裏，因為他有豐盛的憐憫；我不願落在人的手裏。」

大衛對迦得說：『我非常為難；讓我落在永恆主手裏吧，因為他有極豐盛的憐憫；可別讓我落在人手裏呀。』

大衛謂迦得曰、我處窘迫之境、耶和華矜恤維大、願陷於其手、勿陷於人手、

大闢曰、我迫阨甚矣。耶和華矜憫為懷、願陷於其手、勿陷於人手。

大衛謂迦得曰、我窘迫已極、或作我甚愁戚我願陷於主手、因主大施憐憫、不願陷於人手、

David said to Gad,“ I am in deep distress. Let me fall into the hands of the Lord, for his mercy is very great; but do not let me fall into human hands.”

David said to Gad,“ I’m suffering terribly. Let me fall into the hands of the Lord. His mercy is very great. But don’t let me fall into human hands.”

Then David said to Gad,“ I am in great distress. Let me fall into the hand of the Lord, for his mercy is very great, but do not let me fall into the hand of man.”

“ I’m in a desperate situation!” David replied to Gad.“ But let me fall into the hands of the Lord, for his mercy is very great. Do not let me fall into human hands.”

David answered Gad,“ I’m in anguish. Please, let me fall into the LORD’s hands because his mercies are very great, but don’t let me fall into human hands.”

David said to Gad,“ I am in great distress; please let me fall into the hand of the Lord, for His mercies are very great. But do not let me fall into human hands.”

And David said to Gad,“ I am in great distress. Please let me fall into the hand of the Lord, for His mercies are very great; but do not let me fall into the hand of man.”

And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let me fall, I pray, into the hand of Jehovah; for very great are his mercies: and let me not fall into the hand of man.

And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let me fall now into the hand of the LORD; for very great[ are] his mercies: but let me not fall into the hand of man.

David said to Gad,“ I am very upset! I prefer to be attacked by the LORD, for his mercy is very great; I do not want to be attacked by men!”

David said to Gad,“ I am in distress. Let me fall, I pray, into Yahweh’s hand; for his mercies are very great. Don’t let me fall into man’s hand.”

Let the wicked one abandon his way and the sinful one his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, so He may have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will freely forgive.

Israel, put your hope in the Lord. For there is faithful love with the Lord, and with Him is redemption in abundance.

I am pressured by both. I have the desire to depart and be with Christ— which is far better—

It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God!

“ Now My soul is troubled. What should I say— Father, save Me from this hour? But that is why I came to this hour.

Then the Lord passed in front of him and proclaimed: Yahweh— Yahweh is a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger and rich in faithful love and truth,maintaining faithful love to a thousand generations, forgiving wrongdoing, rebellion, and sin. But He will not leave the guilty unpunished, bringing the consequences of the fathers’ wrongdoing on the children and grandchildren to the third and fourth generation.

But with You there is forgiveness, so that You may be revered.

The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and rich in faithful love.

When the servant of the man of God got up early and went out, he discovered an army with horses and chariots surrounding the city. So he asked Elisha,“ Oh, my master, what are we to do?”

A righteous man cares about his animal’s health, but even the merciful acts of the wicked are cruel.

But I enter Your house by the abundance of Your faithful love; I bow down toward Your holy temple in reverential awe of You.

They lift it to their shoulder and bear it along; they set it in its place, and there it stands; it does not budge from its place. They cry out to it but it doesn’t answer; it saves no one from his trouble.

Answer me, Lord, for Your faithful love is good; in keeping with Your great compassion, turn to me.

If we say,‘ Let’s go into the city,’ we will die there because the famine is in the city, but if we sit here, we will also die. So now, come on. Let’s go to the Arameans’ camp. If they let us live, we will live; if they kill us, we will die.”

But as for me, Lord, my prayer to You is for a time of favor. In Your abundant, faithful love, God, answer me with Your sure salvation.

Be gracious to me, God, according to Your faithful love; according to Your abundant compassion, blot out my rebellion.Wash away my guilt and cleanse me from my sin.

I was angry with My people; I profaned My possession, and I placed them under your control. You showed them no mercy; you made your yoke very heavy on the elderly.

Our fathers in Egypt did not grasp the significance of Your wonderful works or remember Your many acts of faithful love; instead, they rebelled by the sea— the Red Sea.

“ Go and assemble all the Jews who can be found in Susa and fast for me. Don’t eat or drink for three days, day or night. I and my female servants will also fast in the same way. After that, I will go to the king even if it is against the law. If I perish, I perish.”

For You, Lord, are kind and ready to forgive, rich in faithful love to all who call on You.

“ All the royal officials and the people of the royal provinces know that one law applies to every man or woman who approaches the king in the inner courtyard and who has not been summoned— the death penalty. Only if the king extends the gold scepter will that person live. I have not been summoned to appear before the king for the last 30 days.”

But You, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger and rich in faithful love and truth.

A prophet of the Lord named Oded was there. He went out to meet the army that came to Samaria and said to them,“ Look, the Lord God of your ancestors handed them over to you because of His wrath against Judah, but you slaughtered them in a rage that has reached heaven.

I will make known the Lord’s faithful love and the Lord’s praiseworthy acts, because of all the Lord has done for us— even the many good things He has done for the house of Israel and has done for them based on His compassion and the abundance of His faithful love.

Who is a God like You, removing iniquity and passing over rebellion for the remnant of His inheritance? He does not hold on to His anger forever, because He delights in faithful love.

He prayed to the Lord:“ Please, Lord, isn’t this what I said while I was still in my own country? That’s why I fled toward Tarshish in the first place. I knew that You are a merciful and compassionate God, slow to become angry, rich in faithful love, and One who relents from sending disaster.

Who knows? God may turn and relent; He may turn from His burning anger so that we will not perish.

Even if He causes suffering, He will show compassion according to His abundant, faithful love.

Look down from heaven and see from Your lofty home— holy and beautiful. Where is Your zeal and Your might? Your yearning and Your compassion are withheld from me.

Lord, I have heard the report about You; Lord, I stand in awe of Your deeds. Revive Your work in these years; make it known in these years. In Your wrath remember mercy!
