“ Go and tell David,‘ This is what the Lord says: I am giving you three options. Choose one of them for me to carry out against you.’”

“ Go and tell David,‘ The Lord says,“ I could punish you in three different ways. Choose one of them for me to punish you with.” ’ ”

“ Go and say to David,‘ Thus says the Lord, Three things I offer you; choose one of them, that I may do it to you.’”

“ Go and say to David,‘ This is what the Lord says: I will give you three choices. Choose one of these punishments, and I will inflict it on you.’”

“ Go and speak to David, saying,‘ This is what the Lord says:“ I extend to you three choices; choose for yourself one of them, which I will do to you.” ’ ”

Go and speak unto David, saying, Thus saith Jehovah, I offer thee three things: choose thee one of them, that I may do it unto thee.

Because they hated knowledge, didn’t choose to fear the LORD,were not interested in my counsel, and rejected all my correction,they will eat the fruit of their way and be glutted with their own schemes.

As many as I love, I rebuke and discipline. So be zealous and repent.

But if it doesn’t please you to worship the LORD, choose for yourselves today: Which will you worship— the gods your ancestors worshiped beyond the Euphrates River or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living? As for me and my family, we will worship the LORD.”

But the LORD said to Moses and Aaron,“ Because you did not trust me to demonstrate my holiness in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this assembly into the land I have given them.”

Now therefore, the sword will never leave your house because you despised me and took the wife of Uriah the Hethite to be your own wife.’“ This is what the LORD says,‘ I am going to bring disaster on you from your own family: I will take your wives and give them to another before your very eyes, and he will sleep with them in broad daylight.You acted in secret, but I will do this before all Israel and in broad daylight.’”

for the LORD disciplines the one he loves, just as a father disciplines the son in whom he delights.

and the prophet cried out to the man of God who had come from Judah,“ This is what the LORD says:‘ Because you rebelled against the LORD’s command and did not keep the command that the LORD your God commanded you—but you went back and ate food and drank water in the place that he said to you,“ Do not eat food and do not drink water”— your corpse will never reach the grave of your ancestors.’”
