“ Go and tell David,‘ This is what the Lord says: I am giving you three options. Choose one of them for me to carry out against you.’”

“ Go and tell David,‘ The Lord says,“ I could punish you in three different ways. Choose one of them for me to punish you with.” ’ ”

“ Go and say to David,‘ Thus says the Lord, Three things I offer you; choose one of them, that I may do it to you.’”

“ Go and say to David,‘ This is what the Lord says: I will give you three choices. Choose one of these punishments, and I will inflict it on you.’”

因為你們厭惡知識，不願意敬畏耶和華，不接受我的勸誡，又藐視我的責備。所以，你們必自食其果，因自己的惡謀而吃盡苦頭。

凡我所愛的，我都會責備、管教。因此，你要熱心起來，也要悔改。

如果你們不願意事奉耶和華，今天就選擇你們的神明吧，或大河那邊你們祖先事奉的神明，或你們這裡亞摩利人的神明。至於我和我全家，我們必事奉耶和華。」

耶和華對摩西和亞倫說：「你們對我沒有足夠的信心，沒有當著以色列人的面尊我為聖，所以你們不得帶領會眾進入我將要賜給他們的土地。」

因為你藐視我，把赫人烏利亞的妻子據為己有，從今以後，殺戮流血的事必永不離開你的家。』耶和華說，『我要在你家中降下災禍，我要當著你的面把你的妻妾交給你的近臣，他必在光天化日之下與她們行淫。你在暗地裡做這惡事，我要讓這樣的惡事當著以色列人的面在光天化日之下臨到你。』」

因為耶和華責備祂所愛的人，就像父親責備他所疼愛的孩子。

他就對從猶大來的上帝的僕人說：「耶和華說，你違背了你的上帝耶和華的命令，沒有遵從祂的吩咐，竟然在祂禁止你吃喝的地方吃飯喝水，因此你的屍體必不得安葬在你的祖墳裡。」
