Go and speak unto David, saying, Thus saith Jehovah, I offer thee three things: choose thee one of them, that I may do it unto thee.

往告大衛曰、耶和華云、我以三者示爾、可擇其一、我行於爾、

往告大闢曰、三災之中、耶和華必降一於爾、使爾自擇。

爾往告大衛曰、主如是云、我有三災、必降一於爾、爾其自擇之、

“ Go and tell David,‘ This is what the Lord says: I am giving you three options. Choose one of them for me to carry out against you.’”

“ Go and tell David,‘ The Lord says,“ I could punish you in three different ways. Choose one of them for me to punish you with.” ’ ”

“ Go and say to David,‘ Thus says the Lord, Three things I offer you; choose one of them, that I may do it to you.’”

“ Go and say to David,‘ This is what the Lord says: I will give you three choices. Choose one of these punishments, and I will inflict it on you.’”

“ Go and say to David,‘ This is what the LORD says: I am offering you three choices. Choose one of them for yourself, and I will do it to you.’”

“ Go and speak to David, saying,‘ This is what the Lord says:“ I extend to you three choices; choose for yourself one of them, which I will do to you.” ’ ”

“ Go and tell David, saying,‘ Thus says the Lord:“ I offer you three things; choose one of them for yourself, that I may do it to you.”’”

“ Go and say to David,‘ This is what the Lord says: I am offering you three choices. Choose one of them for yourself, and I will do it to you.’”

Go and tell David, saying, Thus saith the LORD, I offer thee three[ things]: choose thee one of them, that I may do[ it] unto thee.

“ Go, tell David,‘ This is what the LORD says:“ I am offering you three forms of judgment from which to choose. Pick one of them.”’”

“ Go and speak to David, saying,‘ Yahweh says,“ I offer you three things. Choose one of them, that I may do it to you.”’”

For that they hated knowledge, And did not choose the fear of Jehovah,They would none of my counsel, They despised all my reproof.Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, And be filled with their own devices.

As many as I love, I reprove and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

And if it seem evil unto you to serve Jehovah, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve Jehovah.

And Jehovah said unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed not in me, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.

Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thy house, because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.Thus saith Jehovah, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house; and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbor, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun.For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.

For whom Jehovah loveth he reproveth, Even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

and he cried unto the man of God that came from Judah, saying, Thus saith Jehovah, Forasmuch as thou hast been disobedient unto the mouth of Jehovah, and hast not kept the commandment which Jehovah thy God commanded thee,but camest back, and hast eaten bread and drunk water in the place of which he said to thee, Eat no bread, and drink no water; thy body shall not come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers.
