大闢王取器、與以東、摩押、亞捫、非利士、亞馬力諸國所進之金銀、俱獻耶和華。○

大衛遂以此諸器、並自列國所得之金銀、即自以東、自摩押、自亞捫人、自非利士人、自亞瑪力人、所得之金銀、皆別之為聖獻於主、

犹大王约阿施将他列祖犹大王约沙法、约兰、亚哈谢所分别为圣的物和自己所分别为圣的物，并耶和华殿与王宫府库里所有的金子都送给亚兰王哈薛；哈薛就不上耶路撒冷来了。

大卫和跟随他的人上去，侵夺基述人、基色人、亚玛力人之地。这几族历来住在那地，从书珥直到埃及。大卫击杀那地的人，无论男女都没有留下一个，又夺获牛、羊、骆驼、驴，并衣服，回来见亚吉。

凡心里受感和甘心乐意的都拿耶和华的礼物来，用以做会幕和其中一切的使用，又用以做圣衣。凡心里乐意献礼物的，连男带女，各将金器，就是胸前针、耳环、打印的戒指，和手钏带来献给耶和华。凡有蓝色、紫色、朱红色线，细麻，山羊毛，染红的公羊皮，海狗皮的，都拿了来；凡献银子和铜给耶和华为礼物的都拿了来；凡有皂荚木可做什么使用的也拿了来。

大卫问他说：“你是属谁的？你是哪里的人？”他回答说：“我是埃及的少年人，是亚玛力人的奴仆；因我三日前患病，我主人就把我撇弃了。

所罗门王做完了耶和华殿的一切工，就把他父大卫分别为圣的金银和器皿都带来放在耶和华殿的府库里。

这示罗密和他的弟兄掌管府库的圣物，就是大卫王和众族长、千夫长、百夫长，并军长所分别为圣的物。他们将争战时所夺的财物分别为圣，以备修造耶和华的殿。

过了一年，到列王出战的时候，约押率领军兵毁坏亚扪人的地，围攻拉巴；大卫仍住在耶路撒冷。约押攻打拉巴，将城倾覆。大卫夺了亚扪人之王所戴的金冠冕，其上的金子重一他连得，又嵌着宝石；人将这冠冕戴在大卫头上。大卫从城里夺了许多财物，

我在困难之中为耶和华的殿预备了金子十万他连得，银子一百万他连得，铜和铁多得无法可称；我也预备了木头、石头，你还可以增添。

利未子孙中有亚希雅掌管神殿的府库和圣物的府库。

就是住帐棚的以东人和以实玛利人，摩押和夏甲人，迦巴勒、亚扪，和亚玛力、非利士并推罗的居民。

惟有金子、银子，和铜铁的器皿都要归耶和华为圣，必入耶和华的库中。”

大卫所夺来的牛群羊群，跟随他的人赶在原有的群畜前边，说：“这是大卫的掠物。”

锡安的民哪，起来踹谷吧！我必使你的角成为铁，使你的蹄成为铜。你必打碎多国的民，将他们的财献与耶和华，将他们的货献与普天下的主。

大卫王将这些器皿和他治服各国所得来的金银都分别为圣，献给耶和华，就是从亚兰、摩押、亚扪、非利士、亚玛力人所得来的，以及从琐巴王利合的儿子哈大底谢所掠之物。

“我算什么，我的民算什么，竟能如此乐意奉献？因为万物都从你而来，我们把从你而得的献给你。
